I've gone to both Tabitha & Toya and they're both all about healthy hair. I always leave with my hair looking spectacular. I've send several of my friends to this salon and all of them have raved about how great their hair turned out!

Toya Long has been taking care of my hair for the past five years. I followed her from her old salon to True Colors, and even though I relocated from Nashville, every time I go back to Birmingham, I make an appointment with her. I could be considered a "difficult" customer- I never know what I want and I get anxious if I have to wait or the appointment runs too long.



But Toya is the definition of professional, never snippy or short with me. She's very good at reading people and if you don't want to talk, you don't even have to say so. She won't constantly blab or pry and make things unbearable and awkward like some stylists. But if you *do* want to talk, you can! Toya is intelligent and sociable, and she is TALENTED.



Even with very little direction, (I literally sit in the chair and just say, "Make it look pretty!") she will come up with a style you will love. My hair always gets tons of compliments, she never cuts it too short, it's never weighted down or gummy with too much product. She remembers your personal style and sticks to what she knows you will like, or she'll suggest something new that will look great. She suggests products that work for your hair, but she won't obnoxiously pressure you into buying them. She can do any kind of hair for any occasion, and she also does eyebrows.



Her schedule is flexible and convenient- you can book appointments online, and she takes any kind of payment. She rarely, if ever, overbooks and can multi-task like you would not believe. True Colors Salon itself is in an upscale neighborhood, but not too far off, with adequate parking. They offer complimentary refreshments- soda, snack crackers, and cookies, and a flat-screen tv for you to watch under the dryer.



My only complaint is that she hasn't cloned herself or moved to Nashville!

This is by far the BEST salon experience! Here are the pros: professional service; an almost nonexistent wait time, friendly conversation, fast and thorough service, soothing ambiance. The cons? There are none! Toya Long is the most professional and curtious Stylist that I have ever come across! She is extremely knowledgable about her craft. She takes her time to study the quality and texture of your hair to determine the correct treatment and care regimine that is unique to only your hair. Toya stays up-to-date on the very latest in hair care and trendsetting styles! What more can a girl ask for!

I have been going to True Colors Salon for over a year now and I am quite pleased with their services. Great atmosphere, quality and prompt services. Greatest Salon in the world! Love it!

I love True Colors Salon! While all the ladies are a lot of fun, they take great care of their clients. I know that I am going to be taken care of and walk out with a style I love each time.

Ken Adcock has been my hairstylist for 8 years. He is the best. He is really good with curly hair but also does a great job with any type of hair. Very professional and personable. I highly recommend him
