Hunter W., We are so sorry that you were displeased with the service you received. Associates stress at the initial consultation that they are giving only an estimate. The final cost of a project is based on materials, hardware, and labor. We are glad to give firm quotes via email or phone before beginning any project at the customer's request.

We also wanted to be certain to note that the $170 was a SET price we pay for hardware. So no overcharging took place. We are a faith based business. Serving our community with integrity is always first. I took fabric to 3 local companies to be quoted on having roman shades made. Her quote was right in the middle and her store was near my home, so I chose to use her. Her quoted price was $150/shade and time was 4-6 weeks. In week 7, I called to see how much longer and was told another week. In week 8, once they were finally ready, upon arriving to pick them up, I was told that they were $240/shade, which increased the price drastically. When I asked why, she told me that "everyone should know" the roman shade bracket was not included in her quote. Not only was I shocked that her quoted price was not honored, I was even more shocked as to how terribly she treated me for questioning it. I finally told her, after going back and forth a good bit, that if she was standing by the new price and not her quoted price, I would never do business with her again. Her response: "I've been here a pretty good while without you as a customer so far." I will never use her again, nor would I recommend her to anyone.

As with any business, we have errors and mishaps. It is, and always will be our policy to efficiently address any issue that is raised; correct mistakes and see that the customer feels understood and satisfied.

Although it is not possible to meet the needs of every customer that comes into a business, we surely try. When we fall short, we ask forgiveness and attempt to make it right.

Do not waste your money getting custom pieces made at Sew Sheri. I had Sheri make some pillows for me. The quality of her work is very poor. All of the pillows she made had seam lines showing that should not be seen. I took the pillows back to her to fix and she said she fixed them but did not. She also made my pillows the wrong size and refused to redo them. She said she would charge me $10 more than I had originally paid her to make them if I wanted her to redo them. The worst customer service I have ever experienced!

What a great find! Sew Sheri Designs has a good selection of fabrics on the floor and many more that can be ordered. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Today is the first of many fabric purchases & projects.
