I love Kelley Animal. The doctors and the staff are extraordinary. They love their animal patients and are out of their way to be wonderful to their human clients, too. Highly recommend. One of the best for many years and staying gold. Five out of five stars easily.

I was sad to read other reviews of negative experiences from this facility. Being an individual that considers our four legged children family I want to share. During a senior wellness exam Dr. M suggested we do the blood work also. I agreed to have the blood work done, we found out our little girl was diagnosed with thyroid, liver, heart mummer and joint pain, through medications and regular visits our little girl was able to enjoy one more summer at the lake and one more Santa visit before she died in our arms on Dec 26, 2011. Thank you Kelly Animal Clinic for everything (staying late, short notices when we needed refills, the little things and hugs) so that we had our little girl 18 months longer from when she was diagnosed.

Really great staff & service! I've tried several different vet clinics in the B'ham area before finding this one, and it's just the best!

I have used this animal hospital for about 13 years, the service I have received from Dr. Pelham can't be beat. The whole staff is very caring. I would recommend using this facility to anyone that wants and expects great care for their pet.

Great Doctors and they know their business. Very good with skin conditions for dogs.

I found Dr. Monaghan to be very unprofessional. I had used the clinic she is at for many years and while I really like the people she works with, I no longer go to that clinic because of her. I had one of my dogs spayed and I requested that it not spend the night because this was one of many dogs that I have had spayed or neuthered and I felt that she would be much more comfortable at home than locked in a cage in the clinic. Dr. Monaghan became irate and had her staff relay the message that if I chose to take my dog home then she would not be responsible and refused to see me when I picked my dog up. I found this to be very unprofessional. In the past her colleague had no proglem with my taking the dog home on the same day of their surgery.

I took my 6 yr. old cat in because she was eating and was feeling bad, after the 1st visit they gave us medicine for infection, within 2 days she had to be put in the hospital and stayed 3 nights and received a Blood Transfusion. Was sent home with the same medicince, Well a couple days of good health, she declined rapidly, so we return and received the same medicine as the first time, WITHIN 2 DAYS SHE WAS DEAD. My cat never went outside, did not have Lukemia or any other serious disease. I WOULD TAKE ANY ANIMAL TO THIS HOSPITAL.
