Playing competitive softball growing up, Dr. Palmer suffered with lower back pain and severe menstrual issues. During that time, she was told this pain was just part of being a woman. No one understood that the overall pain she was experiencing was affecting more than just her physical well-being. It was not until she suffered a severe softball collision that her parents took her to her first chiropractor. It was that experience that inspired her to become a chiropractor and help change the lives of others. Dr. Palmer graduated from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia in 1992. Soon after, she moved to Birmingham, AL with her husband and established her practice in 1993 in Birmingham, Alabama.

I was very impressed with Dr Palmer's knowledge, not only in the chiropractic field, but in nutrition and wellness as well. She spent quite a bit of time with me in my free consultation and I am excited to begin care with this office. Highly recommend.

Nice staff, but bring your wallet. The chiropractor took my history then required I have multiple x-rays/tests, showed a sensationalist video about how I'd need 3x/weekly treatment for 6 months and charged me more than $500 on my way out. If you need an adjustment or want an opinion without feeling pressured to sign up for thousands of dollars of treatment, stay far away from here.

Great folks and great service!

Dr. Palmer and Dr. Johnson and both so personable and caring, and really take the time to understand your needs and resolve your problems. The staff is great too - so friendly and helpful. Love their convenient location on Highway 280 and their work hours that meet the needs school kids and working folks.

Best at 280.

Even though I have Like 5 clinics on hwy 31 in Pelham I still decide to drive to Chiropractic today in HWY 280 for their great service. I enjoy the friendly staff and better yet the helpful adjustment given from Dr.Palmer! Highly recommended.

Quite possibly one of the friendliest places you can go to when needing a chiropractor! The wait is minimal and the staff is on point on all your needs. The environment is so clean and relaxing. Kid friendly and Spanish is also a HUGE plus! Reasonable prices which reasons the great service and noticeable treatments!

Chiropractic Today - Exceptional Service

The doctors and staff at Chiropractic today and both knowledgeable and friendly. They display the utmost concern for all their patients. The facility is patient friendly and kid friendly, and the staff speads Spanish as well as English. They also have convenient hours and convenient and free parking. I have seldom had to wait over a few minutes, if at all, when I show up for my appointments. Dr. Irma Palmer, Dr. Matt Smith, and the staff at Chirpractic Today provide excellent and caring service to all their patients.
