In January, we hired iConstruct to replace our privacy fence. The owner was friendly, eager and seemed knowledgeable. And the contract came with a 1-year warranty. After quite a few delays, the new fence was "completed" in March. Completion to this company does NOT mean a finished product...it means there are planks of wood, mostly attached to runners, standing in a somewhat linear form on our property. Though the fence looked okay at first glance, it quickly became obvious that the owner did not do quality checks on the work done by the crew. It looks like it was constructed by preschoolers and is already falling apart. There are significant issues with workmanship and general stability. We expected that the owner would honor his guarantee to have the fence completed to our satisfaction and any necessary repairs would be completed in a timely manner. When we contacted the owner to request repairs he gave us multiple excuses for weeks and now will not return our calls or emails. We have had to contact an attorney to handle the further action it will take to get a simple fence completed.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! We hired iConstruct to replace our privacy fence in late January 2020. The owner was friendly, eager and seemed knowledgeable and the contract included a 1-year warranty. In early February 2020 we contacted the owner to express concern about the stability of the fence, as a large portion is significantly leaning and at least one fence panel had detached from the support beam, as well as faulty workmanship (overlapping boards, misaligned runners, improvised support beams, long nails dangerously sticking through the back of boards, etc.) and the owner assured us he would resolve the issues as covered under the one-year warranty. He never showed up. Throughout February and March, we contacted the owner multiple times and were given various excuses about why he had not yet completed the necessary repairs. We tried to be understanding, patient and remain on good terms, but let the owner know we were getting frustrated with his lack of contact and his lack of action. In late March, he stopped responding to our texts and emails completely. We have had to contact an attorney to handle the further action it will take to get a simple fence completed. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!
