I normally do not write reviews on businesses but the people at the Front Street Dog Shelter are phenominal. We actually got our dog from the shelter 6 years ago and they did an extensive check on us and our other dog to ensure we would provide our new dog a good home. They microchip the dogs prior to adoption which help if they ever get loose again. They have a pen out back so our current dog could be properly introduced to our new dog and to ensure they get along. You also get to spend one on one time with the dogs to see which one is the proper fit.



My husband and I have found 4 lost dogs since we moved to Binghamton and since all dog control officers utilize this facility near BCC they all have been welcomed in with open arms and they do the best to find their owners or adopt them out if needed. They are truely wonderful people and this is a great place to adopt a dog or cat!
