:( I would rather go to staples to have my equipment fixed because at least then you know that it will be fixed the right way to your satisfaction.

I contacted more than a dozen computer repair companies in the local area in reference to my laptop. I told them my problem and most wanted a fee ($75 and up) to look it over. However they all kept telling me I would need a new "dc jack" and the prices ranged from $165.00 and up. I also needed another cord ( I got estimates from about $45.00 and up to over $100.00). I was also given a time frame of 1-3 weeks for service. I took my laptop to Matt at Legacy Computers. He was pleasant, very intelligent (unlike most I talked to), and his prices are a fraction of everyone else's. Most of all he was the most honest. My problem was ONLY the cord and he replaced it with a new one for $20.00. I was also in and out of his store in minutes with my laptop working like new. I took a second one to him and he showed me everything he did step by step. He didn't mind taking the time. He is the most honest individual and business owner I have dealt with in a long time. His character for the way he conducts business is a model for the way all businesses should be run .
