There is no one else I would trust my children with. Dr Haggerty is available at any time (even returns calls within minutes after hours) and always talks you through everything until you have piece of mind. We were just at her new office and it was fantastic....even the receptionist was great!! Highly recommended

My friends had told me that Dr. Haggerty was exceptional and supposedly prestigious for the area, but they could not go to her because of their childrens' insurance.



She accepted my son before he was born. When I first arrived, I was impressed by the home-y feel to her office and the friendly atmosphere. However, I quickly found that her home was not at all clean. I accepted that she did not have healthy/sick waiting rooms, since she did try to schedule sick children at different times.



I did not take much notice to her uncleanly practices until one day I brought my 5 month old in for a vaccination and found that she wanted me to lay him down on a paper table that had another infant's dried, black umbilical cord sitting right where she expected me to put him.



I've never been a lysol-weilding germ phobic mother. My son crawls on a floor that 8 dogs walk on daily. However, I'm not too keen on the idea of laying my child on a table laden with the dismembered body parts of other children.



Trying to be fair, I will list.



Pro's:

- She will make multiple appointments so your child doesn't have several shots at once. - At no office visit cost. Only insurance billing for the vaccination.

- She is genuinely nice to your kids.

- There is a very nice, friendly office.

- The secretary is really helpful, patient, and friendly.

- Flexible schedules allow you for to reschedule an appointment with a day's notice without an immense wait period.

- You're rarely left waiting more than 5 minutes from your appointment time



Con's:

- Uncleanliness. (Obviously, the amount was enough for me to not want to stay..)

- Questions your reasons for decisions you make about your child (For instance, if you don't want vaccinations.)

- Little professionalism with procedures.

- Lacks in gracious service and hospitality with parents.
