I know you cant call them bumpy cakes anymore but, thats what I will always call them. They are absolutely wonderful. I grew up in Dearborn hgts and used to get bumpy cakes there in the 70's and 80's. They quit making them and I moved up north and never thought I'd have a "bumpy cake" again. My kids heard me talk of them all the time they were growing up. They both moved back to the Detroit area after they graduated. A few years ago, my youngest son came up here and brought me a "bumpy cake" He said he saw a sign out front of this bakery that advertised them. He stopped and got me one because he remembered me talking about them all the time he was growing up. When I saw the cake, I thought Yeah it looks like it, but it wont be the same. Well, It was awesome. Just like I remembered. Now everyone one up north wants some of my cake when , every time my son comes up north now he brings me one from Party Cakes and I look so forward to it. When I call to order it, the help is so nice and pleasant to deal with.

Party Cakes makes the best cakes and truffles I've ever tasted. I usually pass on desserts because of the calories, however, I will NEVER pass on a cake or truffle from Party Cakes!!!
