I'm glad there are some negative reviews about this damn place. All of the reviews regarding the expensive price, management, poor renovations, and screw ups with the reservations are so true! I also booked online a few months ago and I am a Hilton loyalty customer and they still found a way to screw up my reservation. Our flight was delayed because of the weather for 4 hours. I arrived at the property around 8pm or 9pm and the front desk person said our reservation was cancelled. What???!!! They said they tried to call me. I told them I had very little battery while looking at the sky in the airport for the past 6 hours (2 hours arrival, plus 4 hours delay). This is bull! I ALREADY paid for my room dummies! Why cancel me when I paid already and you have your money if I show up or not??? Of course, it was a money driven reason. They sold my room off so, they can get double money. Smart business. I called Hilton that same day and got a huge amount of points and challenged these losers off of my business credit card. I see the business manager responds to these complaints. Dude, send corporate all of these complaints and fire the General Manager. Everybody is correct about you all screwing up something simple like reservations. I worked as a manager in the hotel industry for 4 years and the online reservations come in as a queue in the email system so, don't fool people. It's not that hard.

People, stay in Oakland or in a nearby city. San Fran hotels are excessively expensive for no reason.

Located at the beautiful Berkeley Marina, this hotel seems very peaceful compared to other hotels more in the hustle and bustle of downtown Berkeley. The price was right (via AAA) the setting is beautiful, with several walking paths in the immediate vicinity. I marked it down, however, due to the double beds. Two adults cannot fit comfortably in a double bed but hotels seem to insist on offering them instead of 2 queens.

Not there yet. Have been before though. That's why I'm going back.
