As I'm new to the area I was concerned about finding a talented seamstress to help me with my sewing needs. i decided to go to Scissor birds because of the great reviews! i wasn't disappointed! I had a great first experience. I took in 4 pairs of NYDJ's and had all of them hemmed. They did a great job and They were ready to pick up when promised.

Wow. I can't believe what a good job was done on my Dana design mountaineering pack. Unbelievable. I can't even see what was wrong anymore. Fixed right and left shoulder straps like new.....

I have been stuck in the 80's forever & like my pants to be taken in a little and not be so bell bottoms! I've never come to like the bell bottom thing, so I take my pants to Scissor Bird Alterations & I did go somewhere else one time & what a BIG mistake! Marta & her partner Souipeng are amazing women w/a gift of sewing; they can fix anything.I've been coming to them both now for a little over 7yrs & I'm probably there most frequent customer, not to mention Marta did my wedding dress & it was priceless! I would recommend this store to everyone. There are just some things in life that you "Get what you Pay for". They are the freindliest two people you will ever meet & you will always walk out either laughing or smiling. Thank you ladies your truly the BEST!!!

I am a flight attendant and I use Scissor Bird for all my alteration needs. It's important for my uniforms to fit well and I trust Scissor Bird to get it right. I've had several pieces altered and I've been very pleased. Everything fits perfectly the first time!

I have been a customer for over 4 years and I highly recommend it. They can fix anything from our skiing jackets, my boys' jeans,my husband suits and my so "flexible sizing" closet. Martha, the owner is extremely friendly and always has a beautiful smile on her face. I would not go anywhere else for alterations.

I had the zipper on my leather coat break and I could not unzip it. I took it in to have it replaced and 5 minutes later I walked out with the same zipper!###They could have replaced it and charged me but they were able to quickly repair it and send me on the way. Great Service, Honest and really nice ladies.
