Dr Libby Hays is a graduate of the University of Texas Austin (BA Psychology, BBA Marketing), the University of North Texas (MA Organizational Psychology) and Texas A&M University (DVM Veterinary Medicine). She was sidetracked for a few years working in management training for the City of Austin and the State of Texas. After deciding to return to school, she continued working part-time for the State, taking prerequisite courses for veterinary school at UT, and volunteering at a local veterinary hospital. After graduation, she worked as an associate at a veterinary clinic for several years. She saw the need for additional mobile veterinary services in Austin and opened Mobile Cat & Dog Vet in January 2004.Dr Hays and her husband made the move to Bend in 2012. They love the smaller town, friendly people, and all the outdoor activities that Bend has to offer. When shes not taking care of local pets, Dr Hays enjoys cycling, skiing, anything on the water, gardening and tending to her bees. She shares her household with Blake, Mimi & Florette the dogs, Bagheera, Annabelle & King the cats, and of course her husband Michel.
