Bear Creek Doors built two entry doors for my house. Less than 1 year later, the laquer was peeling off the outside of both doors and one of the doors was cracking open at the bottom. Gary (owner) was confused as to why this would happen. He gave me a can of the exact laquer and stain that he used plus some jars of putty to fill the cracks. He did not offer to fix the doors himself, just told me that he would let me use the products he used if I wanted to do it myself. I bought sandpaper and other products that he suggested I buy and began to refinish the doors. When I got to the laquer, I noticed that the can said "indoor" use and contacted Gary. He said that it was for both indoor and outdoor use. I did some research and found out that the reason the doors were having problems was because of the laquer. Gary did not offer any additional help. I will have to replace these custom made doors on my dime.

I was highly impressed with the work this company does. I would reccomend Bear Creek Doors to any homeowner who is looking for quality.
