Posh pets has groomed two of my dogs and cat for many years now. I was most impressss with how gentle and caring they are with the animals ESP my cat. I had never had a cat groomed before but they did such an amazing job. I really liked the fact that is the animal was tired or not cooperating they would take a break and come back. Very Occasionally they wouldn't be fully done but I respected that vs pushing and torturing the animal. With posh pets the animal really does come first.

We have been going to posh pets for 5 years now and are as happy as can be! Both our dogs are groomed and one goes to "doggy school". We love that we can drop them off and they are always happy when we pick them up. Our one stinker started to go to day care every week and he is a different dog now! We were at the point because of his behavior, considering finding him a new home. But not now! He is wonderful! Thanks all to posh pets!!

I have been using Posh Pets since Melissa opened her business in Benbrook and have nothing but good to say about her and her employees and business. I have 3 little Shih Tzus that she grooms. They always are in immaculate condition when I pick them up . They call to remind me of my standing appointments so I don't have to worry about missing one. I love her new location and all the merchandise she carries and am glad to see that she now carries the Holistic food which I am now trying for my puppy.

I totally agree with the no spay no business policy she adheres to. My dogs are all spade with the exception of my 3 month old which will be when she reaches 6 months.

I've only been using Melissa and her well-trained groomers for about 6 months. However, my mother has been using her for years and has had the pleasure of watching Melissa grow her company from about 500 sq. ft. to around 5000 sq ft (guestimate)... Obviously she's doing something right. My mom is very particular about who takes care of her two Cairn terriers. One of them even has a handicap in that she is blind in one eye. Melissa doesn't even charge extra to medicate your animals if need be for minor medications (eye drops, antibiotics, etc)...

Melissa and her employees obviously love what they do and it shows. Even though my dogs have been going there for a short time, they immediately start wagging their tails when they realize where they are. Melissa texts you if you wish of their well being while you're gone and the activities the pups have been doing during their stay.

The reason she does not accept for grooming and/or boarding un-spayed or un-neutered dogs after 1 year of age is that, as you can imagine, the situation of a female in heat with intact males could cause for quite the disruption to say the least.

I highly recommend Melissa and her staff at Posh Pets. My dogs love her and I think she's a terrific business woman, knows her stuff (her father was a vet w/multiple animal hospitals), and most importantly genuinely loves your animal(s) once you get acquainted.

At first, I thought this establishment was well run. Unfortunately, as they have expanded the business the quality of service has been compromised. I was charged over $90.00 for grooming service and was told my pet was 70% complete. This is a well cared for animal, not one with massive matting, etc.

I truly enjoyed my experience with Posh Pets. I have never felt more confident with leaving my dogs with any other pet salon. And it doesn't smell!
