Excellent lawyer

Stephanie is an amazing lawyer. Highly recommend her. She was able to get my husband's estranged daughter emancipated after 20 long years- lying attending college while collecting child support, child support fraud, and parent alienation She's an aggressive lawyer that cares about your problems and fights for you till the end. Thank you Stefanie -you were a warrior when we needed one. God bless you🙏

Excellent!

I interviewed many attorneys before choosing Stephanie. She is an aggressive attorney, who is human and feels your pain! She did for me, what no other attorney was able to do! For the first time in four years and four useless attorneys, did I finally feel my attorney gave a damn!! She was able to get my case heard, and she pushed hard! Thank you for not being like the others, and caring about my plight!!

Rebuttal to Horrible

The fact pattern is unique and therefore identifiable insofar as only three people including a former attorney would reference this particular allegation of false billing by a paralegal in the firm pertaining to three letters that took an hour and a half, which was discussed in June to July of 2013 with the clients and a former attorney affiliated with this firm who had previously been assigned to their file. Upon inquiry with the paralegal assigned to that file, the work included not just three letters but three emails, faxing and drafting an additional letter, and faxing pleadings to the Court and a fax to a separate company. The total time billed by the paralegal was only 1.2 for all of that work and this is a seasoned paralegal with 15 + years of experience in law and specifically matrimonial law. Upon inquiry from the client, she and the supervising attorney formerly affiliated with this firm reviewed the time as billed with the office manager, per protocol and standard operating procedure. I was not assigned to that file, however, I trust the representations of the person who did the actual work on the file and I trust the verification of her time as she affirmed to the office manager. The client was then given the option of engaging in Fee Arbitration which would be binding on either side as that client had raised a number of billing issues pertaining to both the attorney's time and the paralegal's time. Both individuals reviewed the time for accuracy and one correction was made with respect to a date. The actual time billed stood. Fee Arbitration notices were sent to the client, and that individual chose not to engage in Fee Arbitration having fully satisfied their bill here with the firm. I am not happy that any aspects of my personal life with respect to having children, would be published on the internet by a third party who would have such disregard for any risk to their safety as a result of that publication based on my prior employment as an Assistant Prosecutor or my current responsibilities as a criminal defense attorney. However, I like many other parents work two jobs as an Associate Professor and Attorney at Law to ensure that my children obtain a college education and are not saddled with burdensome student loans. I am proud of the hard work that they accomplish and grateful for my ability to provide for them. With respect to this firm's past struggle to effectuate collections as necessary to make payroll and to pay our creditors, as critiqued above, I remind that person of one fact: the provision of legal services to the public is a business and the responsibility of running a law firm entails balancing the needs of client's who must be given payment plans so that they can meet their own obligations and still benefit from legal services. However, there comes a point when a macroeconomic analysis of cost effective business operations has to be completed by every business to reduce overhead costs which are unnecessary burdensome or not cost effective. This firm downsized in 2013 after making a conscious decision that the market demand would not support the growth of the firm to two buildings and twelve employees. I wish to thank my two paralegal's and my one aspiring file clerk for having demonstrated a seven day per week commitment to fulfilling the needs of our clients. We all go forward. Their daily performance made the difficult task of selecting permanent staff a clean analysis. To everyone else formerly affiliated with the firm, I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Sincerely, Stephanie P. Tettemer

Go Elsewhere

This firm is not only an unethical money pit, you better hope you do not have any issues with your invoices. They try to "pass the buck" to someone else becuase they dont want to deal with you. She spends all your money on vacations and herself. She does not have money for payroll. She has no knowledge of the law and believes that she can just skate on by and no one will notice. If you have knoweldge of law and billing forget you will be going to fee arbitration. She allows her paralegals to bill an hour and half for three letters. It should only take roughly 30 min to type up three letter. Again spend your money somehwere you will prevail here is not the place. You will pay for her kids to go to college and then call it a day. She will not work for you!

Great Lawyer, dedicated and fair .

Stephanie is a wonderful Attorney. She takes her client's in like family and offers them wonderful advice and is always attentive. I can get in touch with her 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Her staff is so kind, her paralegal is always available and very professional and sympathetic as is she. I have had a wonderful experience thus-far and would recommend her to anyone that is looking for zealous representation.

Stay away from this lawyer!! Out for MONEY ONLY!!!!!!!!!!! I hired Stephanie to get my Ex girlriend out of my house and she FAILED suprise suprise..... After she told me it was an easy case and she could handle it . 2 years later and a whole lot of $$$$$$$$$$$ NOTHING!!!!! Never even made it to court' Had to fire her, she has no problem calling and asking for money but never a call about your case. No time spent on my case.......... would work on it in the 11th hour. She came highly reccomended but I believe she has to much on her plate to run a Law firm and I was told teach class at WCC. I stayed on top of my payments 0ver 10K and still got SCREWED.... sad!!!!
