I had an issue with my furnace. I called and them came out with in the hour. The guy was very nice but his first words to me were "you looking to replace" I said no just repair. He kept looking at it saying not good. He took a bunch of picture and tested to see if it had power. He said they would get back to me with a quote. I asked when the said today. I waited and waited and waited...in the cold and got no call. I called at 10 am the next day and spoke with some woman and she said they were waiting to hear back from the manufacturer. Finally at noon a gentleman called me back and starting saying that we have serious issues and some of the parts aren't even avaliable anymore. He said that they would not fix it and the only thing they could do would be replace it. I asked how much it would cost and he said they would have to send a sales person out to me. Mind you I still have no heat I said just give me a ball park he said ball park would be $6000 to $8000. I said I can't afford anything like that. He told me that all I am tryin to do is help you I don't have to be treated this way. Really you don't have to be treated this way. I called another HVAC comany who was able to come out to my house at 5 pm on Friday took one look at it said I fix it within an hour had it repaired and said it would be $100.00. Heat back on now no thanks to Rudroff Heating. Never never again.

Poor office service

I called to get my a/c looked at on 6/26. They were out on 6/27. Charged me $75 for freon that I cannot use yet because it leaks out. They needed to purchase a new heater coil. Linda calls me next day and acts like they never came out. Then after explaining to her she then says I have to pay $1050 for the coil replacement. Outrageous I say. I begin pricing the coil, calling around, etc. Mind you, my unit is lead than five years old and put in by Rudroff and to keep my warranty I am opting to use the same company so I call back on 7/3 & ask to schedule an appointment and what the price is for the coil because it appears they are charging over $500 labor. She then asked to call me back as she has to get the price from a file cabinet in the other room. You can hear her baby in her arms. She finally responds on 7/05 in a TEXT message, no name it just says " Hi Melissa, the $1150 quoted to you includes 8 lbs of freon." Now I'm thinking "Really, a text message and $100 more!" Don't buy from them or expect good customer service!!!! The technician was great, Linda needs to go home and be a mommy and leave the office work to professionals!"


Poor Customer Service

We purchased an AC from this company in 2007, but the customer service after the "Big Sale" has just not been there. Our service call appointments are NOT scheduled same day. The service man that comes to the house is curt and always seems put out. And this year no one showed up! Appointment was made, I spent all day waiting at the house, no phone call - no one showed. When I called in at 4:30pm to find out if they were running late, I was informed that they had decided to cancel my appointment because I was going to be the only appointment in this part of the city for the day and they didn't want to drive all the way over here. When I told them that was a bad way to run a company, they didn't care! No offers of trying to make things right. If customer service is important to you - then this is NOT the company for you. We know in the next year or two we will need a new furnace, but we will not be purchasing it from this company.



Great company. They've been around a long time. Their service guys are always professional and treat my home with respect. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I called this morning because it was so cold in my home. They were here this afternoon and I have a warm home this evening! Now that is service! I'd recommend them to anyone!
