All the employees/veterinarian were extremely friendly! They were booked for 2 days and had no open appointments available. I was having kind of an urgent situation with one of my Guinea pigs. The receptionist went and spoke with the vet and they worked me in a couple hours after my phone call. She didn’t have to do that, but she did because she cared. She then did a VERY thorough exam on my piggie and answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed or “squeezed in” at all. You can tell the people that work their love their jobs and care about these animals. I will always take my Guinea pigs there, even though it’s not even the closest to my house. Worth the extra distance.😊

Since Toby was 4 moths old, Belton Animal Clinic has been his professional vet, since they were at the old location, then, they moved, and we moved with them because of the way they treat Toby, now, Toby is 14 years old, and we still love Belton Animal Climic as his unique vet clinic. God bless you Belton Animal Climic.

I am recently retired and when I get the vet in the exam room I explained to her that I have about $150 max for todays visit. So after the initial exam they helped me prioritize what treatments needed to be done and when I had a little more cash we finished everything Rascal needed and I feel so much better that he has all his shots and is a happy healthy fur baby. I am very grateful for their willingness to work with me financially. Debbie and Rascal Miller

Receptionist was friendly and welcoming. They seemed genuinely interested in keeping my dog calm and happy-using a scarf with Adaptil around his neck and giving him treats throughout the appointment. Vet assistant and veterinarian (Dr. Anderson)were both friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

I just got two new puppies. I have visited the Belton Animal Clinic twice to receive shots. The staff have been very friendly and have taken the time to listen to what I say and to answer all my questions. They are very friendly to my furry family members. I look forward to a long happy relationship with the caregivers of my dogs.

They are so caring and professional. A great help with my 13 & 17 yr old kitties. I cannot imagine going to another veterinarian. And I appreciate the military discount on office visits -- every little bit helps.

I've taken my babies to Belton Animal Clinic for 20 years - never had a bad experience. The entire staff are very nice, friendly and very helpful. They always understand my concerns, answer any questions I may have and explain everything they do. I wouldn't take my babies any where else.

BELTON ANIMAL CLINIC HAS TAKEN...

BELTON ANIMAL CLINIC HAS TAKEN CARE OF MY CATS FOR DECADES! I'VE HAD SEVERAL CATS WITH VERY SERIOUS ILLNESSES--THEY ALL RECEIVED EXCELLENT CARE THERE. DR. BRADLEY HAS TAKEN EXTRA CARE, TIME, AND SKILLS TO TAKE CARE OF BOTH ME AND MY PETS. SHE HAS GOTTEN TO KNOW ME VERY WELL AND RESPECTS WHAT I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT MY PETS. SHE ALSO LISTENS TO WHAT I SAY ABOUT THEIR HEALTH. WE HAVE SEEN OTHER DOCTORS THERE WHO WERE ALL GOOD. I BELIEVE DR. BRADLEY IS THE BEST, AND IT'S ONLY THE BEST FOR MY BABIES! SHE IS VERY INTUITIVE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE STAFF IS JUST WONDERFUL. EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM IS KIND AND CARING. I HAVE A THREE-LEGGED KITTY WITH CANCER (WHO IS ON CHEMO). DR. BRADLEY SAVED HIS LIFE WHEN SOMEONE BROUGT HIM IN TO HER. HE HAD BEEN RUN OVER BY A CAR. MY KITTY GETS ACCUPUNCTURE EVERY 2 WKS--IT HAS HELPED HIM HAVE A WONDERUL, HEALTHY, SASSY, HAPPY, SPOILED, AND MISCHIEVEOUS GREAT QUALITY OF LIFE. HE IS DOING FABULOUSLY- I REALLY BELIEVE THE ACCUPUNCTURE IS LENGTHENING HIS LIFE. TO SEE HIM--YOU WOULD NEVER EVER KNOW HE HAS CANCER!!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!! THANKS SO MUCH TO ALL OF YOU! BL

Our 20 year old cat was in adv...

Our 20 year old cat was in advanced renal failure. I asked about acupuncture and Dr Bradley Bays explained what it could and could not do for our cat. He had stopped eating and was listless. We noticed improvement within 24 hours after the first treatment. We took him in for weekly treatments until he eventually passed away. There is no cure for renal failure, but the acupuncture kept him with us for a few additional months and kept him comfortable until the end. I was surprised at how reasonable the cost was, as well as how much he improved (eating and personality) after each session. I just wish we had started it sooner.

They saved my guinea pig's life

My guinea pig had stones she could not pass and had been misdiagnosed at another clinic. Dr, Bradley figured out what was wrong and did surgery immediately. The entire staff is very friendly and Dr. Bradley is extremely knowledgable- I could tell she had lots of experience with guinea pigs and I felt very comfortable with her. She followed through after the surgery with phone calls and is very compassionate and loving. I will continue to go to her despite the longer drive. I am so blessed to have been referred to her because "Pumpkin" is now happy and finally well!

My Vet. for 11 years and counting!

I began going to Belton animal clinic in 1998 when we got our first bunny as a "surprise Easter gift". I am very thankful a friend who had had pet bunnies for years referred me there. At the time I didn't realize how unfamiliar most vets are in the special care bunnies need. Fortunately we ended up at the right place. We now have 7 bunnies, 6 of which are rescues. Our needs have ranged from things as simple a checkups and nail trims to respiratory infections, ear infections, tumer removal, spay and neutering, teeth trimming, clogged tear ducts, bad hips and kidney disease. With each and every problem big or small my pets and I have always been treated with kindness and respect. The outcome has not always been happy, like when I finally had to have our first bunny put to sleep after 5 years with kidney disease, but I know we have alway received the best medical care possible. Many times Dr. Bradley Bays and her staff have gone above and beyond the call of duty because they know how importent our furry family members are. Even though the clinic is a 30 - 45 minute drive for me, I can't think of going any where else.

Not a good place.

I took my dog there and was diagnosed with something in her neck. They did "surgery" she was miserable and not long after the same exact problem that they supposedly fixed was back. The surgery cost me a fortune and when I called to argue about them having to do something else about her problem, they simply stated that I would again have to pay for it because apparantly playing guessing games is exactly what they will do with your pet. If they dont fix the problem on the first try, thats great for them, it gives them an opportunity to make even more money from you. In my opinion they show no compassion for pets, but are only out for a dollar. Now of course I'm not saying that sometimes misdiagnoses dont occur, however it would have been far better for them to have tried to correct the problem and make it right instead of immediately worrying about how much they would charge for the next thing they had to do.

rude/ over priced/ ignorant doctors

in february 2009 i took my prairie dog dog there, my experiance was terrible, my review is lengthy but i wanted to be clear on why you should choose a different vet. i went there on a monday because my i found my pd ill on saturday, between saturday and monday my pd had shown very good signs of getting better she was eating some not alot but enough/ she was in good enough spirits that the doctors could barely keep ahold of her. i already had pretty much figured out what was wrong with my girl, i just wanted to have a vet check her to be on the safe side....so we go there and withing 15 minutes of looking at her they tell me that test are going to cost 400.00 PLUS the meds/the office visit and so on, dr freeman wanted to get a second opnion so she left the room and came back with DR. Bradley, as soon as Dr, Bradley came in she said its probably has Odentoma ( a tumor at the top her teeth which causes pain when they chew) i told her she was not having problems chewing she had chewed on my dresser that morning and i said i think it is just a "CLASSIC CASE OF SHUT DOWN" dr bradley said " that does'nt tell me anything" so i explained to her what it was...... it is when pd's get to cold their bodies try to hibernate to reserve energy except black tailed prairie dogs dont have the mechanism to hibernate they can die when they shut down- their bodies began to shut each system down a little at a time.... then the good bacteria in their stomache diisappears and pd's when they have no good flora in thier tummies they do not want to eat hence they need a flora replacement like Critical Care by oxbow.... when i told DR BRADLEY this she said.... "well that doesnt help me at all/ if you want to find out whats wrong with her you need to do the test" i said i know whats wrong with her i just wanted to double check.. she was so offended by me questioning her tactics she said "you dont know who i am... i speak in confrences all over the country on exotics and i went to school to become a vet i dont just get my information off the enternet" she was refering to me corresponding with prairie dog owners and researching her symptoms myself... i was in touch with a lady whom owns a zoo and relocates pd's she has 30 currenlty --another lady i was in touch with has relocated over 10,000 prairie dogs-- another is a vet in philly and another vet from the texas area.....all agreed it was a Classic Case of Shut down...but DR Bradley said it she did not know what that was and it is probably odentoma and when i said do you hear obstructions in her breathing ( a telltale sign of odentoma) she said NO but you need to check it out anyways so you can decide if you want to euthanise her. WHAT THE F@#! ..... OKAY....moviing on... for the 400.00 they needed to put her to sleep to get x-rays and blood work, a good vet does not have to put your pet to sleep to get x rays, Dr freeman said well it is cruel to draw blood from an animal while they are awake.... ANESTHESIA MAKES IT EASY!!!!!! they were rude they tried to make me feel like a bad pet owner for not wanting to spend the 400.00 they tried to make me feel ignorant because i do not have a degree in vetrinary medicine and they tried to over charge me..they said and i quote "
