arrogant salesman

I went to this lot looking for an affordable used car. What i got was a condescending salesman with a poor attitude. The ac in my car doesnt work, so when i arrived i was a tad windblown and sweaty...i could tell he wrote me off the moment he saw me. He explained to me that i should just buy from him because no one else would work with my particular situation. Then proceeded to try and sell me the most overpriced piece of junk on the lot. Then when i said i was going to look around he told me "Youll be back." Wow. Just wow. Insult me, then act like I am the one who needs him. Plenty of other places to spend my money. If that were the last carlot on the planet, I'd rather invest in a good pair of walking shoes than buy from them. Save yourself the hassle and irritation. Way overpriced and way too rude.

I came to Autonow with the hop...

I came to Autonow with the hopes of obtaining a new car and to build my credit. At the time of my purchase I was a 22 year old young man trying to jump start my life. I had seen many advertisements for Autonow and thought this would be a great place to start. My experience proved different. The problems all started when I went to the Belton location. Upon walking in I meet Eric. Eric treated me with such disdain I should have turned around but I knew I had a goal to accomplish, buying my first car. As the transaction continued Eric presented himself as disrespectful, unhelpful, and misleading. I felt as though I was judged by my age and lack of credit. Is it not one of Autonow's main purpose to serve those who are starting out or in need of a second chance? As we went through the terms and conditions of my contract I was told the car I was purchasing would help build my credit. This piece of critical information is VERY misleading. Your company only reports to ONE credit Buearu and it happens to be the one most companies are less likely to reference. A year later I am still in the same credit position. It saddens me to know I have made EVERY payment on time and have nothing to show. I am upside down in a 2003 Mazda Protege that has 146,000 miles and my credit is still in need of building. I was expecting you all to be trust worthy, dependable, and accommodating. I have called and the best advice was to pay the car down to $3,000 dollars and come trade it in. But why in the world would I do such a thing?! I am not able to trade my car in at any other dealership because of the current amount I owe. So now what? Who do I turn too? You showed my that Autonow is just like all other dealerships SHADY and can't be TRUSTED.
