Belmont Hill School, established in 1923, is a boys school that enrolls more than 400 students. It provides academic and liberal arts education to students in grades seven through 12. The school emphasizes on active learning, problem-solving, decision making, reading, creative writing and communication skills. Its curriculum includes English, arts, mathematics, history, science, social studies, and foreign languages with a choice in French, Spanish and Chinese. Belmont Hill School also provides basic and advanced courses in computer applications that include word processing, programming, 3-D video animation, graphics and Web design.
