I have yet to hear anything different from anyone I know who have been to the Black Drop than they not only have the best coffee in any format in Bellingham, but they also have the most "Bellingham" style culture and feel, which also includes the staff that serve.



You also might catch some engaging local artwork. Last I stopped by there were photos showcasing a local Bellingham photographer "Phil Rose" originally from the UK who's unique "nonconforming" style seemed right at home at the BC.



A visit to the Black Cup is more of an "experience" in quality of taste, people, and the atmosphere of Bellingham's true culture, than what you'll find at other more "coffee service" based shops I've visited.
