Great all around

This was exactly what we expected as far as food goes. We loved it, we shared what we ordered and my husband and I thought the food and service was exceptional. The atosphere was great and the service could not have been better. The atmosphere was of a 'bluesy' days gone by and the clientelle was comfortable, various ages, quiet and exciteable chatter. The waitress was tall and squatted down to eye level, very charming and on the ball, sophisticatedand down to earth, not intrusive, yet attentive. We ordered the Pulled Portk Po' Boy with yam fries also the Jambalia, biscuits and gravey. Mouth watering and flavourful, sauces to choose from at the table and our beverages were coffee and tea, the coffee was never ending good coffee, the waitress also brought a larger mug, with the second refill (must know how good the coffee is) When I ordered the tea, she didn't ask what kind because when she served it, she brought an assortment in a tea cup and left it at the table, I chose Mango passion fruit. The hot water was served with lemon on the side...... how good is that? We left a well deserved tip. Very well staffed and well placed. Our coplients to the chef and kitchen staff. Good choice in music, all around great place, and we hear the dinner is even better.

Jumbalaya Heaven!

By far, one of my favorite places to eat - if I was stranded on a desert island and could choose just one dish to eat it would be Bayou's Jumbalaya! The rest of the menu is terrific but I thought I'd died and gone to heaven after one bite!
