Walked into Rock City Tattoo Shop and what a wonderful experience it was! Atmosphere is amazing. Very comfortable. Staff is super friendly. Their expertise and knowledge in what they do makes you the customer feel confident. They take their time with you so you never feel rushed. From the wonderful staff to Rock the owner they answered every question and add their input to help your vision to make it perfect! So if you're looking for an amazing tattoo or piercing, look no further than Rock City Tattoo. You will certainly be happy you did!

I went here for the first time 2 weeks to get my tragus repeirced. The owner took me into the back room and actually had a conversation with me. He didnt just want my money, he really wanted to connect and get to know me. He did a great job with my peircing. I def will be back to have my tattoos retouched! I recommend this shop to anyone!!!

Rock City is the place to be. If you want a quality, colorful, and a reasonable tattoo, Rock City Tattoo is the place to go. They are friendly, the artists are the best, and the atmosphere is very warming. I went there for the first time recently and will definitely go back for that piercing I've been wanting. I was very nervous about going to a tattoo parlor but my finance and I wanted to get a special tat to show off on our wedding day. We had an idea on what we wanted but wanted to speak to a professional about it. It had to be just right. It just had to be perfect.



We went to Rock City Tattoo upon a recommendation and spoke to Rock himself. He was very gracious and spent a lot of time with us. We spoke of our ideas and where we wanted the tattoos and he was patient with us and gave us some ideas as well.



Together we came up with a wonderful rendering of what we wanted in a tattoo and then we came up with where to strategically place them. We wanted hearts, our names, roses., and the result was absolutely amazing. The combination was surreal and the colors was vibrant and we were able to show everyone on our wedding day.



What a special day it was and what a special place Rock City Tattoo is for giving us the memories we'll never forget.

It's been a long time since I've been to a tattoo shop that had everything I wanted. But that's what I found with Rock City Tattoo. The place is located on a busy street in Belleville and I pass there often and decided to stop in to check it out. I'm very impressed with the staff, the artists' work and the owner, Rock, couldn't have been nicer.



At first I wanted a tattoo and then I also stayed for a piercing. The place is very organized and the experience was wonderful. I ended up staying longer than I thought. The time just flew by. Ended staying to talk a bit with the owner, Rock. What a nice guy. Very down to earth and he really cares about his customers.



The prices are within budget. I got exactly what I wanted and they all made me feel like family. Why would you go anywhere else. They have it all!

Ever have a situation where you were compelled to get a tattoo. well, here's my story. I wanted to honor my grandmother with a tattoo but did not want her picture on my arm. So, I thought about what she liked in life - her favorite book, her favorite flowers, or her favorite song. Then I went to Rock City Tattoo with some ideas.



The owner, Rock, spent a lot of time with me discussing my ideas and incorporating his own and we came up with the perfect tattoo that would honor my grandmother. It is a combination of all my ideas. It wasn't tacty and the art wasn't crowded. It was vibrant and beautiful - just like my grandmother.



They did a wonderful job, combining ideas, color, and the location on my arm was absolutely perfect. You can tell it was in honor of someone special and I get so many questions on it and everyone wants to know where I got it done. Without hesitation i say Rock City!

I moved here a few years ago and didn't know anyone. I started a job and made a few friends and they are the ones that suggested that I go to Rock City Tattoo. I was nervous as it was my first tattoo and not very experienced in questions I should ask. But hey had the best artists around and how they really took the time to make you feel comfortable. And boy, were they right. The vibrant colors really popped and I've received soooo many compliments on this tattoo. Everyone is asking me where I got it done and I tell them, simply the best place in northern NJ, Rock City. Stop by and see what I mean. They are reasonably priced and they treat you like you're the only one in the shop. And, don't forget to bring your friends - they'll be as impressed as I was!

The atmosphere is cozy and the owner, Rock, always greets his customers with a smile. He is genuinely the most pleasant person and will always go above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you want. They are soooo nice there and so inviting, you can't help but to just want to stop in to say hello, even if you're not getting a piercing or tattoo.



They are always making suggestions on new tats and piercings and will go that extra mile to make you feel like family. I recently go another piercing and Rock himself did it. He takes his time, as if you're the only customer there. He explains the process and makes sure you understand what is going on. You'll know what I mean when you go there - they can't be beat - anywhere!

I never had a piercing before and wasn't sure about it at all. I was recommended to go to Rock City Tattoo by my friends and when I walked into the shop, I knew I had made the right decision. Rock, the owner, made me feel very comfortable and was very professional. He explained exactly what was going to happen and told me exactly what to do when I go home and how to take care of my new piercing.



The experience was not at all what I thought it would be. He alleviated my anxiety about the whole process and actually told me to call with any questions or concerns. What a place! I will definitely go back for more piercings and maybe a tat too. I was watching and listening to the customers, all of whom seem to have been there before. What a nice feeling to know that there are repeat customers and they all have a loyalty to the place. There is a reason for that. They now have my loyalty as well. Great job Rock City!

I went with a friend to Rock City. She wanted a piercing and I just went for moral support. They were so warm and welcoming that I felt like family. They already knew here and treated me like they already knew me too. What a nice feeling. She got her piercing and I ended up with a piercing too. Can't wait to go back and get a tat now.
