I live on a back road about 3 miles from highway 50 so it always really pissed me off that we couldn't get DSL or cable. I mean for god sakes, people 5 minutes up the road get cable and we can't. But anyway, our neighbors had Wisper and they seemed happy with it so I decided why not? It's the only thing we can get at this point. I have to say I am EXTREMELY happy with the internet. It is fast and reliable. Their customer service however needs a little work. Not the worst I've ever encountered by any means, and the techs are all really nice and knowledgeable, but they rescheduled our installation twice because the utilities people never came to check where they could dig the trench for the cable. They installed it anyway after a couple weeks but they left the wire out and said they would come back to trench. Well its been over a week and they still haven't come back to dig the trench. We can't mow the grass, and every time I call them they say they are just waiting for the utilities company. Not my problem, just fix it.

I live in a rural area (Between Breese and Carlyle) and no options rather than dial up. I did some research and found Wisper and couldn't be happier! The Customer Support is incredible. The only issues I have had are usually after a huge storm comes through, but its always fixed the next day. After I had the service for a year, Wisper contacted me telling me they wanted to increase speed for the same price! I can not say enough good things about this company

Wisper ISP, has been the only real ISP in this area for so long, and it kills me to say real because there running on DSL speeds with the connection reliability of satellite. I play a lot of games online, and I have to say between the terrible upload and download speeds, and the really horrible ping, this ISP is not the best choice for any gamers. They provide DSL-Like Speeds, and Worse than Satellite Reliability, and charge Fiber-Optic Prices. I am very glad that another ISP has moved into the area that provides fast speeds, at a reasonable price, I would not recommend Wisper to anyone.
