Called Glaenzer Electric while trying to find an electrician to repair a short in my home's wiring. I had gone through the listings and called 4 or 5 other electricians and left messages that were never returned, Glaenzer was the only one that had a live person answer the phone. They were pleasant and up front with their pricing. They sent someone out the next day to work on my wiring. The electrician was very nice, showed up on time and diagnosed my problem in a short time. He had it repaired and was on his way in a minimal amount of time. I am VERY pleased with their work and recommend them to anyone needing work done. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I purchased an older home that required extensive updating with the wiring and an upgrade to a 200 amp panel. The old wiring was a mess (indoor wiring used outside, outlet wires reversed, exposed uninsulated wiring in the attic, etc.) and the old panel was double lugged on most circuits. Ken Bassler came out to give us an estimate. The panel upgrade was quoted at a definite price, but the wiring problems had to be estimated, with final cost depending on parts and labor. The final cost was 10% less than the total estimate, and the quality of the work was impressive. We were impressed with the knowledge and professionalism shown by Ken and the electricians. Ken was always available to answer questions throughout the week-long job. Every evening when I got home, the work areas were spotless. From beginning to end, Glaenzer exceeded my expectations.

A circuit, the one supplying our furnace, decided to short out on a Friday at 10pm. I tried the few repairs that I knew, but to no avail. The following Saturday morning, I needed to call an electrician. A friend recommended Glaenzer Electric, so I called their after hours paging center. My call was returned within 15 minutes. They offered to have the on-call electrician come out, and were very up-front and honest about their after hours charges. Within two hours, the electrician arrived. He was very professional and courteous. He quickly identified the problem, fixed it, and was on his way in about a half hour. No surprises, extra charges, or fees. I would definitely recommend them if you need an electrician.
