I have been dealing with Bellbrook Lawn Equipment for more than ten years, and in that time I have dropped in for emergency help on a mower or trimmer numerous times. Every single time the owner dropped what he was doing and immediately got me back on the job as quickly as possible. Twice he came to where I had the mower breakdown and fixed it. I believe his prices are very competitive, but where this business really stands out is in the area of customer service. I am a customer for life.

Tried to book my mower in for a repair. He was so negative, saying it would be over 3 weeks, did I still want to bother? When I said yes, he let out a big sigh. He then started filling out a form asking for my details in an aggressive tone as though he just did not want my business. I would have walked away then, but I really needed my mower fixed. It then got worse when I told him it was a sit on mower. Why didn't you tell me that earlier he snapped! I almost laughed out loud because his attitude was so bad. I'll up date this in 3 weeks when my mower goes in for repair. Can't wait!



4 days later. I managed to fix my mower on my own, so I did the decent thing and called Bellbrook Lawn Equipment to let them know I no longer needed them to repair it - in 3 weeks time. Their response did not surprise me! Having explained why I was calling, to cancel my repair, his response was "name!" so I repeated my name, his response was "right" then he hung up. So his contribution to the call was 2 words. Maybe he read my review above and recognized my name which is why he hung up so abruptly. Though I don't think he would ever pay any attention to customer reviews as customer service is definitely at the bottom of their priorities. So much for shopping local, I will never use them again.
