I have been to the color lounge 2 times. Only reason I went a second time is because I received a gift card for a haircut. I stuck with the same stylist for the second visit because she was very talented and gave me a pretty long layered style and cut...but she stunk so bad and was dirty looking, cat hair all over her clothes along with 2 holes in her shirt and hair looked extremely dirty. She reminded me of a drug addict! She was also very annoying with her stories of all her friends that seem very weird and when her friend man stylist joined in it was even more annoying because all they talked about were childish things and partying. The owner is also very short and was on her cell phone on both visits which made her take a second to acknowledge me. Its not even worth a shot unless you need something to laugh at

iMy husband and I were there several days ago (1 week) as a matter of fact and we were not pleased at all. First of all we were not greeted when we came in. We were there to see Dan the hair stylist and he came over to us and said he would be with us in a couple of minutes so we waited for him. As we sat there an employee introduced herself as Holly and ask if there is anything that she can do for us or get us a bottle of water. She was the only the only person there that had the courteousy and a smile when she approached us. As we sat there we watched and seen her talk to other customers and hold conversations. That was extremely nice of her. All we heard from other employees were negative conversations about the owner because she was so busy walking around telling them to mop this, dust that and clean the toilets. So, I guess that's why no one was sitting at the front desk to greet us when we walked in because she walking around nit picking. I actually don't blame the employees for c

I showed up for my appointment and the stylist wasn't there due to family emergency. I'm truly sorry for this individual and understood that things happen and would have come back, but the owner Chris said his assistant was very good and would do a great job. I ended up with a TERRIBLE brassy yellow/red color on 2 inches at my roots only, the rest was my original color. (I had asked for my regular blond highlights). I had reddish dye on my forehead and neck. The gal had to ask another stylist to help fix it but after another attempt it was still horrible. I rescheduled to come in for a fix from the original stylist and then ended up with a greenish, gray ash low tone and white/gray highlight with bleeds from the foils in numerous spots around my face and throughout the head. Friends and family thought it looked really bad. UGH! So I went in the next day to discuss a potential solution with the owner and stylist. I was told by the stylist I was being "ridiculous", "picky about the bleeds", "annoying and bitchy" and "wasting his time". The stylist raised his voice to a yell, the owner had to tell him to walk away from me. I've never see anything like it! I just wanted a reasonable solution and was willing to have him fix it! I asked the owner for a reimbursement but she refused. I'll be going elsewhere and warn you to cross that place off your list!

Since my normal girls were too busy or on vacation, I chose to go here because is was close and I was going on vacation in a few days. I went in with pic's of the color(s) I wanted and how I wanted it, but came out with an empty pocket and a hairstyle that I didn't ask for!! Although I got the colors I wanted, they were no where dark, bright, thick like I asked for!! The stylist was nice and she did a good job (had I asked for that),but they charged 170 for basically hair cut, highlight, and lowlights!!! That was the MOST I have ever paid!!!! I called in advance to check on prices and I was given 150, 160, or 170 for 3 different colors??? How did I pay 170 for 2???? I'll be back tomorrow......for either $ back or to add more color!!!!! Bottom line..........STAY AWAY!!!

Don't expect a call if your stylist is running late. I arrived early to my appointment which was scheduled 7 weeks prior and was told it would be 1.25 hours before my stylist could get to me. I was then offered a rookie who completely screwed my color and was still given a $200 bill for color and a partial cut with no drying or styling. If I spend that much I want my coat taken at the door and top service. Don't expect that here.
