The bartender called the police on us. Do not go to this bar, they will call the cops if you are having too much fun. Terrible place , hope it closes.

I am not one to cry over spilt beer but an incorrect ticket- yes. The argument over two dollars should NOT be disputable between a waitress and her customer(s) but in this case, it certainly was the instance.



There we sat, a table of six, two which were drinking soft drinks and one a water. Over the course of two hours, one individual decides to order a beer the next round, and when the separated tickets arrive, there were questions.. Unanswered questions which were responded with crude remarks instead of willingness to hear our table out OR listen to an innocent mistake. Ivy was her name and don’t worry, she is the perfect picture of what one would imagine.



What happened to customers were always right? Two dollars is not life or death but it was to this girl, Ivy. She argued the ticket BEFORE we could even explain to her how the tickets were a) separated and b)an extra beer was still being charged when there was no beer. Honestly, we were out earlier at a different bar where beer was close to five dollars; two dollars didn’t mean anything to us!!!



Instead of correcting the error, Ivy proceeded to call one of us a meth head and how (s)he needed the two dollars for meth instead of paying for beer. Not only was she screaming this at Toadies, she was saying this loudly in front of tables purposely. I have never been a waitress, but how BAD do you need tips or for other people to feel sorry for you?



Typically this is a nice place to go and hang out with but when you have horrible wait staff and even worse managers; that is when there is an issue. The manager, Jesse, followed us outside after I asked her if she needed the two dollars that bad and gave her (what was her tip) two dollars.



It was like he wanted confrontation. In all my almost thirty years, I have never been insulted by a waiter or waitress; especially in front of a manager. Most cases, you’d be fired right then and there. I realize economy is tough but is no reason to disrespect customers due to your OWN error. She WOULD HAVE made the two dollars up in TIPS if she did not come to the table cussing us out being defensive.



Any place that hires INSECURE girls who curse customers out due to their OWN errors and screams how they are crack heads and this and that is no place to spend money at. Donate blood if you are that desperate for two dollars.



I'm not sure which I am disappointed more at: the waitress or the manager. I understand young girls being crazy but don't flex you're wanna be muscles at customers when you have no idea what's going on....



There you have it: Toadies is the worse place and there IS a reason why they pride themselves on CHEAP drinks. Go to Redneck Heaven off Beach Street for hotter waitresses or even Boomerjacks for better food. It’s worth the food, drive AND money.

great place to chill with friends! drinks are great and cheap. waitstaff is always awesome. one of my local favs!

This is one nasty bar, its dirty the staff is usually non existant, specials are sometimes ok, weak drinks i'll never go back.

Cheerful staff who makes it a point to get to know its clientele. $2.00 Crown and Down all night on Tuesdays with extended happy hour on Friday until 8:00. Check out their food - a cut above your standard bar fare.
