Cannot eat rice or beans for health reasons and vegetables were always substituted at no charge until last visit on July 19, 2019.
Now Lupe’s charges 75 cents for substitutions. Very disappointing. My family has been eating at Lupe’s in Bedford since Jorge Suarez opened it. The atmosphere feels like a step into Mexico without having to travel to Mexico. Was told new management changed the rules. But, in doing so may have lost some old, loyal customers.

One of the best meals I've ever had. Will be back many times.

I have never had a more fantastic margarita!

This is my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in the Metroplex! The food is delicious and freshly made. The bean dip is one of a kind. At first glance, you think what is this, but when you dip your chips in it, you cannot stop eating it. I love it. The staff is friendly and courteous. It's not a chain, but some good ole homecooking.

This is a hidden gem....Lupe's started out slow but has improved every visit. Nice little restaurant in Bedford... The decor is good and the food a 7.5 on a scale of 10... I will say the wait staff is a little "english" challenged.....



The menu is vast...probably too much but the crispy meat taco's are the best....



Give it a try... Not your standard Tex Mex but good food.

If there was a negative star rating option I would have selected it to describe both the food and service!! The worst dining and customer service experience I have ever had! If it was in my powers I would personally close this place down. I personally addressed the numerous issues that presented themselves during my visit to the owner and not only did he not apologize, he also made no effort to acknowledge there was a problem. You've been warned!!
