I am not very satisfied with the service I received. There was a strong, foul odor throughout the waiting area as well as in the exam room. The shots and the blood drawing went fairly easy. Once it got to clipping the nails, total disaster! The second nail clipped started bleeding, and the 70 lb pitbull that we love so much, was trying to pull away, falling off of the very small exam table, yelping like she never has before, all while the grand ol vet was still trying to continue and telling us that her nails were short anyway and they would all do this. So why are you trying to continue? Through all of this, he was being very unprofessional towards his assistant, yelling at her and throwing his body around in a childish disgust. They then tried to charge us for the nail clipping that they didn't even do. Never again. I will stick with Port Royal, I don't know why I changed my mind in the first place.

Loved the Saturday hours and nice staff. Small, older place but prices were very reasonable and the doctor really cared and the assistants didn't mind my questions.

Battery Creek Veterinary HospitalAfter 3 trips to this vet facility and my cat no better, but worse, I finally went to Bluffton Animal Hospital. The 1st visit the vet did not suggest a urine test be done for my cat with a HISTORY of UTIs. Just Meds, one week later, more meds to pick up. Then it was I, the OWNER, who suggested a complete CBC panel be done. Then the vet says it is only an inflammation of his bladder.One week later, my cat is dripping bloody urine, so I call and was advised that their lab is CLOSED today (9/1/10 until next Tuesday, 9/7/10). Poor lab service so they could not do a urinalysis.So I gave up and went to Bluffton.My other comment is the waiting room has a very distasteful odor of urine, so pervasive, I had to wait outside.Do not recommend to any pet owner who needs sound disagnostics.
