Both of my parents AND myself feel like we were victims of extortion here. We were given a price of $8,000 for a month of inpatient treatment. I was confused as to how they were able to do this, until I realized they are registered as a 501c3 non-profit organization. I signed all my paperwork and entered treatment. However, after being in treatment there for already 2 full weeks, my parents were contacted by John Havenar, at which time he notified my mother that if she did not pay ANOTHER $12,000, I wouldn't be able to stay and finish the month, which had ALREADY been signed for and paid for in full by my mother. He had been in constant contact with both my mother and fiance and knew that they were absolutely desperate to save my life, so of course, my mom wasn't thinking clearly and paid it. Here's where it gets worse...she was so distraught by the demands for more than twice what she ALREADY paid, and was already quoted, that she accidentally overpaid $1,500.He still hasn't repaid it
