Brian Kelly MS, L.Ac. is a graduate of the prestigious Tri-State College of Acupuncture where he earned his masters degree in acupuncture. During his education at Tri-State he learned 3 distinct styles of acupuncture

1) Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which is the most common form of acupuncture taught in the US and is a style of acupuncture that was         developed in China in the 1950's.

2 ) Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM) which is based on the work of the late Dr. Janet Travell, and address the myofacial constrictions or trigger points in the body that can lead to the disruption and dysfunction of the body

3) KM style acupuncture, is a Japanese style developed by Japanese acupuncture master Kiiko Matsumoto.  Km style relies on palpation of the abdomen to diagnoses the body and in accordance with other Japanese styles it is a powerful yet very gentle form of acupuncture. 

Brian is board certified as a diplomat in acupuncture by the NCCAOM.  He is also certified in clean needle technique by the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

He mentored for two years with the late Japanese acupuncture master Keichi Murata.  Murata sensei began his acupuncture training at the age of 16 under the tutelage of his uncle who was also a successful Japanese acupuncturist.

His formal post graduate studies up to now include Auricular Acupuncture, Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation, Integrated Koshi Balancing, a two year KM acupuncture mentorship program as well as Master Tung Acupuncture under the tutelage of Jackie Haught who has been practicing acupuncture for 30 years.

Prior to acupuncture Brian spent 7 years in the vitamin and supplement industry, during which time he spent learning about western vitamins, herbs and nutrition. His interest in alternative medicine started after he received a liver transplant at the age of 16.   

That coupled with his prior interest in Eastern philosophy led him to eventually pursue the art of acupuncture as his vocation.
