My aunt went to this salon for a gel manicure before the holidays. They cut her cuticle and ended up with an infection that even a week of antibiotics couldn't fix. We're heading to the urgent care so that it can be lanced. DON'T NOT GO HERE. Run not walk the other way! Look at the picture and see for yourself.

Very good service. Salon is very clean and professional. Very friendly staff. I would go back there again.

So I WAS happy to find a salon that seemed clean.....I will NEVER go there again!!!!! I took my 10 year old daughter with me to get our nails done....she was so happy to have some time out with mom since I work alot....after she was finished with her nails she came and stood next to me a little disappointed that the lady who did her nails didn't do what she had asked. So anyway the girks doing mine was just finishing up when she turns to my again 10 year old child and tells her "oh you look like me when I was pregnant, hunny you need to lose weight and exercise you too fat, you belly too big!!!! I was in shock!!!! My daughter is suffering from a thyroid condition that makes her carry weight around her mid section but she is by far FAT!! But regardless even if she was she is 10 years old and already has self esteem issues from her thyroid issue..... I was angry and all the manager said was "oh sorry" and that will.be 45 dollars....disgusting & will never step foot in there again

I've been using New Babi for over a decade. I won't go anywhere else. Are they a little pricey? Maybe. But you get what you pay for. It's extremely clean and well run. I'm ALWAYS more than satisfied and always leave with a smile on my face.

Very expensive salon, most of the time they would do an ok job, but you have to go through the technicians with terrible attitudes and manners. I think they are so confident that the place is popular and always busy that they started to take advantage of this fact and are very ungreateful and unapreciative. If any of the employees are reading this I just want to let them know that a tip is only given if you do a great job and you definitely have to be pleasant to the customer and that a tip should never be simply expected just because you do your job. I still would give tips even though I thought they did not deserve them and each time they would take it, sometimes not even looking at me or even saying thank you. At one time the man that was working on my nails, while drying in the UV, actually hit me in the arm to let me know to take out my hand already, I was looking at the tv, so instead of just talking to me he hit me in the shoulder. Another time I came in with a broaken nail, just a day after they did my uv gel set so naturally, i needed it fixed. They obvously did a bad job since my nail broke withing 24 hours and I had to drive back to get it fixed the next day. I walked inside, told the lady at the front desk what happened. she then shouted in her launguage to the man with the tatoo that was working on my nails the day before. He answers her back in their launguage and the lady just nods to me and tells me to wait untill he's done with his customer. I wait for him to be done, than he takes another customer. I go up to him and attempt to communicate that i was suppoused to be next. he tells me to sit and nods at the empty chair near by. After i would say close to an hour of waiting I notice that they are closing soon so I yet again ask him when will he be able to get to me, after which he starts rudely yelling someting to the effect that he has no time because they are closing. I was shocked. I waited there for an hour, the lady at the front saw me sitting the whole time, he did also, they all know why i'm there and soon before the closing they wanted me to come back the next day to fix my nail. It was impossible for me because my nail was broaken so badly under the gel that i wasn't going to be able to do anything untill the next day. I was even afraid to sleep like this because of the fear that it will tear more. I told them that i'm not leaving untill they fix my nail. they were so upset. the guy doing my nails shouted for me to sit down like he was doing me a favor. I was the one who should of been upset. I had to drive back the next day after he did a crapy job with a broaken nail, sit and wait for an hour just to be screamed at!? I could not believe the way that they treated their customer. He rushed with the biggest attitude fixing my nail, after about 5 minutes it was fixed, it looked ok, at least it wasnt broaken i told myself. I got up and was ready to go when i see that all the employees that were there started stearing at me, up and down together with the guy that was fixing my nail. they all started talking to one another in their launguage so that I wouldn't understand, they were giving me dirty looks. They obviously wanted me to leave a tip. When they realized that thats not going to happen because I was close to the door, they started getting louder, with what sounded like complains and snarks. I felt so uncoumfortable, But the fact that they Expected a Tip after all that I went through was unbeliveable to me! they were lucky that i didn't get in touch with the BBB at that point! I will NEVER go back. If they keep this up they will definitely loose their business. This sytem does'nt let me to leave zero stars that's why I gave it one

New Babi is one of the best nail salons in the bay shore area, clean efficient, walk ins are welcome! They have many pedicure chairs with great massages, tons of colors to choose and a free amazing real back massage when you're done with your mani or pedi. They also do waxing in the back and massages. The massages are seriously better than some upscale spa massages I've had. The spa or hot cream pedicures are worth the little extra in price!!
