Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I usually go during 2am after i get off work and i am soo suprised of how good the service is. The people are always so nice. They have a virtue I do not have! They even offered to show me how thick the shakes are before I paid for it. Like I said, they go out of their way for your satisfaction!

Better than Best

This place is by far the best fast food burger place ever. It was packed during my visit and wasn't surprise after eating why! The food tasted great. Talking about an old fashion home made burger it was! The bun was about 5" and was dressed with mustard and lettuce tomato pickles and crunchy diced onions. The fries were hot and fresh and crispy and I had an iced cold coke. This place couldn't charge me enough for the quality of product the served me and the great friendly service. If you haven't tried you must.

The burger is the right size, ...

The burger is the right size, the fries are too small and not done, they gave me sloppy fries. You can tell the burgers are not home made, cause they are too thin, and they taste just like the burger from Cabelas,( cheap roadside diner burger). I frequently eat at Bergerons in Port Allen and they are the only place that deserves $8 for a burger. Their burgers are big, fat, and you get like 2lbs of fries with it, all for $8. This place will go bankrupt quick, if they dont change their food/portions, and quality of the burger. For gods sake, all you got to do is get some ground beef, and mix it with some spices, it doesn't have to be premium Kobe beef, or anything, but you cant expect people to buy your stuff for $8 if it taste like a cheap roadside diner burger, especially considering that there is Cheeburger place right behind this location, and their burgers are much better, just small portions, and the place is packed with kids all the time, which is why I dont go there.

Great service. Great place

I went here recently. I must say this store is remarkable. The place was sparkling clean. The employees was super friendly and the food tasted GREAT! I haven't seen anything else like it at a burger place. They also sell breakfast, too!!!!!
