Located in Bar Harbor, Maine, Mount Desert Island High School is a public school that serves more than 650 students and employs over 70 faculty members and nearly 35 support staff members. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and by the State of Maine. Mount Desert Island High School offers classes in English, social studies, math, science, health, physical and family education, visual and performing arts and technology.
