Provided by YP.comLike a lot of others I was shorted on my bottle redemption. Over 10 bags of bottles were brought there and I got $18.50. That's $10 short to my counting my girlfriends counting AND my neighbors counting. This is not the first second but the third time this has happened (hence the number of people I had count it this time) I'm done. Three strikes and you're out. I would not recommend this place if you want what you should be getting as far as a return on what you have payed in bottle deposits.

Provided by YPmobileDon't go there cause they will rip you off! Brought what I knew would be about $45 worth of bottles (I return bottles once a month so I know how much my vehicle can hold) but was shocked when I only got $33. I called the manager after I left to voice my concerns and I was called a couple days later to come pick up $11 that I was shorted. I was impressed that my concern was taken seriously that I decided to continue going there, but the next time I went I was shocked to see the woman that ripped me off still working there! Why would an employee that was caught stealing or unable to COUNT still be employed!?! I get giving an employee a second chance, but how hard is it to count? And after reading some other reviews I feel this was done purposely.

Provided by YP.comAlso have had issues with this redemption center. I previously counted bottles that are a guaranteed redemption, and they equaled up to EXACTLY $45.95. Thing is....I watched this person count them up all in front of me, and it was correct to my count. Apparently this business has a habit of giving half of what you trade in. I got only $25.35 from my bottle redemption that day...

Provided by YP.comdont go there i been riped off a ew times and today i had 7 dollares in bottels i counted them twice and then i get 4 dollares and 50 cents i wont be going there any more for my propane and returnables or drinks thanks bangor redemption for losing my trust in your bussiness , and ill do my best to let every one in bangor and surrounding areas that ive been riped off
Tim, I Sincerely regret that your most recent experience was not a pleasant one. We instruct our employees that they must give an honest count to the customer and to the vendor - no exceptions. There may have been some bottles that we could not redeem, be it that some were from out of state, liquid in them, crushed or broken, we do not have a vendor for a particular product, or simply some of your products might have been milk related - which do not have a deposit. This having been said the clerk should have told you this, if you questioned their count. We wish you had brought the discrepancy to the attention of the front desk at that time. Maybe we would have had a better out come.
