United Way of Central Maryland (UWCM) is part of a network of nearly 1,800 community-based United Ways in 45 countries and territories. Locally, United Way of Central Maryland collaborates with nonprofits, businesses, government, advocates and individuals to bring meaningful and measurable change to our community by investing in programs that advance health, financial stability and education -- the building blocks of a high-quality life. We support programs and initiatives in the city of Baltimore and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard counties.

Our work goes well beyond our historical role of funding strong nonprofit partners. Today, we are mobilizing all of our assets to deliver transformative results here in central Maryland through programs like Family Stability, Access to Healthy Food and READ LEARN SUCCEED. Our efforts are focused on a broader community agenda that is best addressed through a unified vision and coordinated action.

Living united means being a part of the change. It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future. Give. Advocate. Volunteer. LIVE UNITED.
