Susan V. Lipton, MD, MPH is a board certified physician specializing in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Dr. Lipton earned her medical degree from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. She completed a pediatric residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and her fellowship training in pediatric infectious diseases at the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC), San Antonio. She has a Masters in Public Health from UTHSC-Houston in disease control.Dr. Lipton attended in neonatology at UTHSC-SA for 7 years. She served as senior faculty in primary care pediatrics at Sinai Hospital for 18 years while serving as head of pediatric infectious diseases. She now practices only pediatric infectious diseases and in 2020 became chief of infectious diseases for the Maryland American Academy of Pediatrics.
