I attended a funeral today. The person was prepared beautifully. My problem was I fell a coldness and a lack of compassion. The minister finished the eulogy. The mortician this was the end. No other instructions were given. We sat there. The body didn't move and neither did we. The grieving parent stood and asked us to leave. No one was around for aid or comfort during the service. It seemed so cookie-cutter. I hope the cost spent had nothing to do with that. Other services I attended were very nice.
