What a wonderful doctor!!! Mom was experiencing excruciating pain in right hip, had a scan and diagnosed with a mild fractured hip and arthritis. She was referred to two orthopedic surgeons. We called the 1st doctor and was told she couldn't get an appointment for two weeks. Then we called Dr Dvorkin's office, explained the situation to receptionist, who put us on hold and talked to the Doc. She got back on the phone and said come in now....Wow!!! Mom went to the office, he reviewed the scan and said he could do surgery that Monday, this was on Tuesday. He was willing to rearrange his schedule. Being skeptical, at 80, and never meeting this Dr. before, she said she would wait. We researched Dr D and found he was very reputable. Two weeks later, Dec. 5, 2016 she went under the knife. He did such a great job, she was up the next day, walking on a walker and was released within 2 days. She was off her pain meds within 4 days. Today, Jan 5th was 30 days, our 2nd follow up and she is doing great! Dr. D is so informative (explaining every detail) and he is so caring and understanding. His staff is very remarkable also, attentive and friendly. They went the extra mile initially talking to the doctor and scheduling Mom right away. Mom was under a lot of stress deciding whether to live with the pain or get the surgery. She is thankful she made the right decision, having the surgery and getting the right doctor. You rock Dr. Dvorkin....Thank you!!!
