Established in 1999, McBee Elementary School provides educational programs for the academic and intellectual development of the children. It enrolls over 600 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school was named after Frank and Sue McBee, who have a long history of devotion to community affairs and historic preservation. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, language arts, reading, mathematics, science and social studies. The school also offers various special programs that include Reading First, extended care, professional learning communities and vertical alignment programs.
