It suprises me greatly the recent very low ratings and complaints made by two patients.f his staff and associates. I began seeing Dr. Mark Malone, as I stated in 2004 for a failed surgery on my lower back(L4,5 & S1) by a different doctor located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex not Dr. Malone. While there have been periods where I would have prefered a different course of treatmentax 2@@2q to help quell my pain I realize Dr. Malone and all the staff at Advance Pain Care are attempting to provide me with the best possible care. I suppose my pain would be considered cronic since there isn't a day or night that I do not have some discomfort even taking the medications, however I do not blame Dr Malone for my situation on the contrary if it were not for all the Doctors and staff at Advance Pain Care I would all. I am very pleased with the care provided to me by Dr. Malone and his associates and would like to take this opportunity to thank them for my care.

I had both high hopes and high expectations when I first employed this pain clinic to take care of me as a long term chronic pain sufferer. It wasn't long until I realized I wasn't the priority to these doctors. I've accepted that I can't be fixed and that I'll suffer pain until I die. What I want is compassionant care by providers that respect me as the one paying them and also as an equal partner in making decisions. Instead they change my medications (maybe a good thing) but fail to follow up with the effects (left in horrible pain because the drug dosages were too low). They require me to return so they can remedy their mistake (money from my pocket to theirs) when it could have been remedied by phone. Yet again I was left in pain and when I called I wasn't allowed to talk to anyone on the medical staff. Left wondering if I will get some care or just figuratively tossed to the curb. Then I got a repeat of the usual--prescribe the drug but no follow-up about whether it was effective or not. It wasn't. If you have a long-term chronic pain condition, I warn you to stay away from Advanced Pain Care.

I had been a 'patient' of Dr. Malone for three years; however, never once saw him in person. On 3/29/13, I was scheduled to see Dr. Malone and paid my $25 co-pay upon entering the office (before being seen). Dr. Malone asked me if I had been seeing other doctors in front of office staff (HIPPA embarrassment and violation) then cancelled my appointment without refunding my money. I told Dr. Malone that I was thinking about trying to come off the pain meds that I was addicted through via his prescription. I had seen a psychiatric specialist who was recommending Bupenorphene. Dr. Malone became visibly angry in front of staff and stated, "get your meds from him". I told Dr. Malone that I would do everything under his care; however, I felt as though he was not concerned with addiction as I had heard from all his staff about the deaths of one of his nurses and a patient in the last year alone via meds and drugs. Dr Malone stated, "it won't be that bad and laughed at me when I asked for my money back since he would not see me, stating, "I did see you, see I'm seeing you right now". When I refused to leave the office without my co-pay and guarantee not to bill my insurance, Dr. Malone provided me with a hand written note guaranteeing such. I have gone through weeks of withdrawls and would appreciate a right to sue and your sincere efforts at poling Dr. Malone's patients to see who has actually seen him. I know of MANY violations first hand by his office including but not limited to: HIPPA, falsifying drug tests, staff purchasing pain medication off patients, and deaths.

The office here is pleasant and they call to remind you of your appointments. The doctors have a pleasant manner and have been able to meet my pain care needs. They seem to have total concern for their patients. No complaints. Highly recommended.

Dealing with chronic pain is draining, but the doctors here make it manageable. I'm surprised to see anything but positive reviews because I've never had a bad experience. The physicians are positive and caring as well as being highly knowledgeable in pain management and concomitant treatments. The staff is good as well. What else can I say... Highly recommended.

When I started going to this o...

When I started going to this office they were aware that I had to have certain documents filled out for my W/C care to continue and agreed to fill out all documentation. I have been going there for years and this year they have suddenly changed their policy without notice and refused to fill out the forms stating that they don't do that. After several minutes arguing with them and showing them that they did indeed fill them out in the past they agreed to do it. I was told in private that they have stopped doing it because they are to busy. That's fine if you let your patient know so he/she has a chance to change Doctors. I have also been shuffled from Dr. Malone who I rarely saw to Dr. Frederick who I never saw because he quit before my visit but they neglected to notify before my visit. Then I was put in the care of Dr. Bengtson who saw me for maybe two minutes because he was in a hurry to go somewhere. I'm not sure what is going on there, they are not the caring group they used to be. If you like to see the doctors assistance instead of the Doctor this is the place for you. All the doctors assistance were great and took the time to know you.

They're always positive at the front desk and while you're getting checked in. If you're appointment is at 9 am, you'll see the doctor at 9 am. And the doctor always listens to what you have to say and communicates about any changes, etc.

NO CARING AND DANGEROUS TOO!

I was a patient of Dr. Malone's for over 2 yrs.

I saw him 1 time at the beginning of treatment and then it was PA after PA

We worked pretty well together until a PA named Ginger arrived about 3/2008

I had been treated for Chronic Pain and developed Fibromyalgia in the Summer of 2008.

I was told they did not believe in Fibromyalgia nor did they know how to treat it

Their phone line message stated they took care of Fibromyalgia.

However Ginger did.

I went one time and met Ginger and my quiet yet classy mother of 78 happened to be with me

Ginger just lost it.

She yelled at me.

Threatened to take my meds away if I didn't do everything she said.

Not one time did we mention Fibro.

I had been a Registered Nurse for 27 years before the injury that caused the chronic pain in 2005

Letters and complaints were done after the assaultive behavour from this Ginger person.

As a result at my next and last visit on June 2008 I got to see Dr. Malone again.

He stated I do not think we can help you here anymore.

He gave me my prescriptions including Morphine which I had been on since 2/2007

Referred me to Dr Dubois.

I called as soon as the 4th of July was over and Dr. Dubois suddenly was not taking any other patients.

Funny, I had called 2 weeks ago to Dr Dubois office to see about changing MD's and he was.

I know Dr. Malone and Dr. Dubois must have had a little chat.

Now I am looking for a MD and Morphine Detox or something as well as to stay out

of excrutiating pain.

Pass this doctor up

Here how it works at Advanced Pain Care. You meet Dr. Malone. The first and last time you will ever speak or see Dr. Malone. He just disappears and the office gets into some serious attitude when you request to see him again. Then you meet with Debra Cole L.P.C who does an "evaluation" on you. Which last about 30 seconds. You will be required to meet with Debra Cole every time you come into the office. After that it is nothing but assistant after assistant. If your into just the dr*gs, by all means this is the place to go. If your looking for medical help and a doctor who cares look else where. My insurance company requested information from them on my treatment and they refused to hand over my records. Making the insurance company very suspicious. They asked for the money back from the doctor. Who in turn tried to collect it from me.
