The hygienist who cleaned my teeth was awesome! I thought my old dentist rocked (he was recommended by a co-worker & I always recommend him to others), but this gal was really great -- she talked me through what she was doing (like "grading" each tooth by number maybe because it was my 1st time?) and then I had one of the smoothest, easiest cleanings I've ever had.

I'm new to town and needed to find new doctors. I heard about About Smiles from a friend of a friend and thought I'd check it out. I am really big on going to my dental appts like 2x/year. I like happy teeth. The front desk receptionist was friendly (heck, being new to Austin, I'm finding out that almost everyone is really friendly! Kinda freaks me out sometimes).

Our family has been traveling for months and getting ready to move out of the country. Before our move I wanted to make sure that everyone had their teeth cleaned and checked out, since we may not be back for a year. First, my two boys love, love the hygienist. She kept them calm and at peace with her talking and teaching. My 8 year old, explained to me how important it is to floss, "Mom, we need to floss more and not just with those floss picky thingys". Ok, so that is good...off we went to buy some floss. Then my husband had to get major teeth work done...whew, a tooth pulled and trying to save another one. He ended up spending several hours there and explained how attentive and alert the entire staff was to his needs. He was provided water and a blanket, could watch the tv while waiting and of-course he even got to work because they have wifi. All big pluses in his book. And finally...me. I had not had my teeth cleaned since 2012 due to being pregnant and on bed rest. Luckily, Dr. H

A dentist, like any doctor, must be chosen wisely. My teeth and gums are healthy in no small part because of regular good dental car {one must still brush and floss}."

I just had my appointment with Dr. Hoover at About Smiles Family Dental. Now I will tell you that I have never posted a review, on anything before. However, my wife, and my daughter, as well as myself, had such a great experience with this office, that I was compelled to write my first review. I am not one for going to the Dentist at all, but from the time we arrived, to the time left, we new we were in good hands. It was the only time I have had a shot in mouth, and literally did not feel it. I asked Dr. Hoover when she was going to give me the shot, to which she replied, I already did, enough said. I give this Dr., and this office five stars, and will recommend her to my whole family.

I'm so glad I finally made an appointment at the dentist. I heard about them on the radio and the DJ said they were good so I decided to check for myself. Very clean and relaxed atmosphere in the office. The doctors there were easy to talk to and I would definitely return. I had my teeth cleaned and Dr. Hoover fixed an old filling for me ... it was so easy and painless!

CincyRents has not only consistently identified and helped me contract great tenants, but their friendly staff has also always been available and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I might have.

Bought the groupon for an exam, X-rays, and cleaning. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I liked the digital X-rays and picture that were shown to me immediately on the screen to discuss my treatment plan. Saturday hours are also great for those of us that work M-F.

The new office facelift was super nice, but the staff is the reason to attend. I love their staff and Dr. Smith is always pleasant with a greeting smile on his face. Megan the hygenist is also wonderful. I have gone to them for several years and always enjoy the experience despite it being the dentist. :)

Just got teeth "serviced" today -- cleaning and fillings. Great job, as always. Megan does a super job as hygenist, and Dr. Smith is tops. Always takes time to answer any questions and finished work on my teeth is perfection.

I have been going to Dr.Smith and his staff now for over 15 years and they have always been so warm welcoming, friendly and supportive of my needs. Their care is excellent and I really appreciated their patience this morning when the numbing medicine caused me to not feel so well this morning. Their help with financing my dental needs was also a plus. Thanks for a job well done.

Dr. Hoover and her staff are amazing!! Our whole family now goes to her. I had some fairly extensive work done in my mouth, and was beyond scared of having this much work done. I guess that is why I had to have so much done, because I had not seen a Dentist in years. I reluctantly sat in her chair, then grabbed the armrests and prepared for the worst. After a couple of seconds, I asked Dr. Hoover when she was going to give me the shot of anesthesia, to which she replied, " I already did." I have never had this happen before. My wife had the exact same experience. Amazing!!!! Five stars!!

As always Dr Smith and his assistant did a wonderful efficient job....no pain and a very fast appointment. They are the best!
