I was a bit nervous having read some of the reviews here, but I went in open minded, and left extremely pleased with my experience today. My wait was only about 20min (w/o an appointment), when I got to the window I really didn't know how to accomplish what I had set out to complete in this visit. Rochelle walked me thru everything, and offered options without being prompted, I felt comfortable allowing her expertise to guide me. I did not get the immediate gratification I sought, but settled on a fairly timed option available, believe it! The staff are bound by rules & regulations set forth, and will not lose their source of income (job) to appease anyone's urgent matter by bending/breaking these. Advice: Come prepared, call ahead to ask what you will need, be NICE! After my initial business was complete, after hours might I add, I asked an additional question expecting guidance not performance, personal matter, and she could rightfully have had me come back! But she took care of it on the spot, with a smile, and earned every bit of this review.

This office has been a nightmare from start to finish. They made the error in my case and I paid the price. They are still trying to make me pay something that I don't owe. I was cut off 8 months ago due to their mistake so how do I owe them anything? No, they owe me--8 months worth of income period. Get it fixed people! How many others have suffered due to the Aurora Co. Office's mistakes?

They can't even get it together enough to follow a court ordered Writ of Garnishment to collect $26,000 in back child support. How hard is that?! Well, guess the control freak who runs the place can join me in a Contempt of Court hearing & see what the Judge has to say abt it....

I wonder who the control freak is that runs this place. this place is the most awful place. People get treated inhumanely every day. Human rights are violated and privacy rights as well. Ive never seen such a big group of hateful people at one location until I came in here . SSA in Aurora is not for the people and seriously needs to read the constitution and preamble of the united states. We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

A Joke!!! That's all I have to say....the staff and management are a complete joke!! Headed by a control freak in auora!! Stay away!! So much for the government working for the people!!
