WHEN YOU ARRIVE YOU ARE GREETE...

WHEN YOU ARRIVE YOU ARE GREETED BY A VERY UNFRIENDLY HOST..DO NOT TOUCH THE HORSES...DO NOT PET THE HORSES....DO NOT LET THE HORSES STOP TO EAT....WHICH IS FREQUENT ON THE BRIEF TRAILRIDE..THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY RUDE AND TREAT EVEN EXPERIENCED RIDERS LIKE THEY ARE NOT WELCOME ....I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO THIS BUSINESS

love my experiences at Paint Horse Stables

I have taken riding lessons over the last two years and enjoyed many trail rides with Bob at Paint Horse Stables. I started off as a total beginner and am amazed at how much I have learned. I feel Bob really teaches us how to take good care of the horses and to be sure we are always paying attention to how they are feeling and how they are doing - he teaches us to always be thinking of the horses and how we are treating them. I also feel like he takes great care to make sure we are safe - he teaches us to be prepared for anything and how to respond to the horses if something upsets them (and how to handle ourselves). I've always felt he cares about the experience we are having overall - he wants us to enjoy ourselves but also to take our responsibility in caring for the horses very seriously. My trail rides at Chatfield have been just beautiful and lots of fun; I highly recommend them!

Great trail ride!

My daughter and I went out on a trail ride this weekend at Chatfield horse stables and we had a great time! My daughter loves horses and she was so happy to ride on her own horse. The ride was past a lake and through the woods so the views were very pretty. Thanks for a great ride :)

Take another look and read on

Horrified to see these reviews about Paint Horse Stables and Bob. We have known him over 20 years, and ridden at Paint Horse Cherry Creek all that time, taking many clients to him. Learned long ago (have ridden for nearly 50 years in Westchester, NY, Europe and Colorado, that stable owners care about horses more than they care about people. They have to. Their skills are with horses and they don't have to be that great with people. I can testify to this as I've encountered it over and over. As for unwell looking horses, Bob KEEPS his horses until they die, and certainly does NOT let the old ones be ridden. He is not going to shoot them, nor ship them to slaughter. The older or sick ones are kept the fence and shed so that he can keep an eye on them. Many live well into their twenties; we can cite Eclipse, Premier, my favorite, a paso, Murphy, Trinka, Buck. As they get older Bob will only put a lightweight child on them and eventually just feed and care for them. The stable has pro

Horrible! Don't support this animal abusive business!!!

They don't take care of the horses at all!! The owner just wants your money, period. Take your business elsewhere, to people who actually care for their animals, and the quality of your experience.

Very Sad for the Horses

We went to Paint Horse Stables and had a horrible experience. The horses hooves were cracked and the horses had sores on them. One horse looked extremely ill. The owner was extremely difficult to talk to, angry, aggressive, and rude for no apparent reason. Everyone was polite to him and he still lashed out at everyone including his staff and children. I would highly recommend you consider another stable for horseback riding! I really worry about those horses.

Your horses are cared for always.

I have had 2 APX TB out in Cherry Creek at Paint horse stables for the last 7-8 years. Before they were in a fancy pants barn and all thy did was jack up my vet bills. AS SOON as I moved them into the less pretty place.out in a big field. They are now with KAREN OVER IN CHATFIELD. She is an exceptional person to have around your animals and you. She wont mess aroud if you think she is wrong. She will educate you about why she feels this way and you are more then welcome to add your thought. Karen is a bright light for all of us. We are not dealing with PAINT HORSE, OR BOB. I have no issue with Bob. Yes, he is a social moron. He has no way of being understood or heard with the attitude he presents. But what everyone needs to know about him, is that he will give you anything with no questions asked. He will also protect you like you were his own........ You break that and you will vanish from memory.
