If you want to be ripped of, by all means call these folks! BE CAREFUL OF THESE CROOKS. They tried quoting me $1,800 to do basic cleaning on my tankless water heaters. THEY CHARGE YOU FOR THE TRIP TO QUOTE YOU. The customer service tried to say it is industry standard to charge a trip fee. Yes, it is industry standard to charge a trip fee for diagnosis or repair, BUT NOT FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE for something in which you should already know the cost of. Normal costs for this routing maintenance are around $150 per water heater not $900. At their cost you are better getting a new tankless water heater every couple of years.

On top of that their heating people had a "team lead" who tried to mansplain what a mini-split system was after I repeatedly kept telling him I have a mini-split system. He had the audacity to tell me I must me mistaken and think the condensor of the AC unit is a mini-split. I don't get why it took 3 times for me to tell him that I have a separate unit with a mini-split for him to believe that I truly have a mini-split system.

On top of that they try scaring you with all this mumbo jumbo to replace parts to "prevent" break downs. Umm my furnace is 4 years old and I have had people routinely come and look it and NO One has tried to sell me on a repair of $1,500-$2,000. ABSOLUTE CROOKS AND WAAAAAY OVER PRICED. I only hired these people instead of other people I worked with because they were the only ones who had someone that worked with a boiler so I thought I would just bundle everything. What a MISTAKE.

What a rip off! Charge a $50 service call then quote some outrageous price that no one would pay, then drive to the next house and do it again. Just do that 10 times and you've made $500 a day for NOTHING!

They tried to charge my wife $650 to clear a drain! She was in tears! SHAME ON YOU!

Bell left my home leaving an invoice stating five large gas leaks, danger of explosion and life loss and $1000-$1200 to repair. The problem is that they left my gas turned on which was my clue. The manager lied to me stating that it was unlawful for them to shut off my gas. Really? So they left my home in an explosive state; nice liability and care for their customers. If they had suggested to me that I should have my gas shut off and informed me that they would do it right then, of course I would have stated yes, which is what was supposed to have happened. I was so surprised by the findings that I didn't register truly what my predicament was until I shared with others.

Another company found two gas leaks and did the repairs.

When I discussed with the manager, the use of a scare tactic, he tried to excuse his technician and what was clearly written on the invoice due to his ethnicity and lack of communication skills, but then stumped himself by stating that this employee was reliable and had been with them for over five years. What does this tell you???

When it comes to integrity and reputation, this company should be embarrassed and wont last.

If I was the family owner, I would definitely be looking to replace some people to save the reputation of my company, which I believe was more than likely built on the foundation of integrity at some point, like most family businesses start out.

I didn’t know what happened to my pipes but my basement had water all over it. I called these guys and they came out in 1 hour and fix the problem. They also gave me a warranty for a couple of years. This was a very good experience that I wasn’t expecting from a plumber

I've been using Bell for years and needed service again. They came right out, gave me a far quote and gat the work done. no problems, I love it

Bell just came out and did an emergency repair on my heater.They were fast and alot less than I expected.

wasnt getting hot water and called for service. Bell came right out and took care of the problem before my water heater burst.

My heater was out and Bell came out fast gave me a very reasonable qoute and did the work. I know there might be cheaper companies but the service and warrenty made me feel great

Bell Plumbing is the absolute worst choice for your home remodeling project. Recently, my 75 year old mother contacted Bell to remodel a secondary bathroom. They brought her into the showroom and talked her into many features that increased costs unnecessarily. One of the Bell designers had a "great" idea for the old linen closet. They said that they had something that would fit just right. They sure did, they talked her into a custom cabinet that required part of the wall to be removed. The cabinet goes from the floor to the ceiling 93 inches. What is my mother going to do with such a tall cabinet. What would I do? They did not supply us with specific measurements nor design. We didn't find out until the cabinet was delivered. Additionally, we tried to change the order once we got a list of the costs [although they would never break it down from materials and labor: I had to figure that part out] and we found out that the TWO cabinets that they ordered cost $3000 combined. We didn't know the actual price until we had put money down for the entire job. They explained that they couldn't make any changes because the cabinets were a "custom" build. There were several blemishes in the cabinet that looked like marks from moving which they stated they would send a representative from the company to come out and look at them. It has been a month and we are still waiting. DO NOT WORK with this company!!!

For my master bathroom remodel the best I can describe my experience with Bell is they are overpriced, have no quality, and add no value to the process.



Only one item for the master bathroom remodel was done correctly the first time. So inspect everything that is done. They cover up and tried to hide issues and would never say a word. They have no control over the vendors they use and their quality. They never inspected the work the vendors did on my job.



They have been in the business for a long time and cannot provide the steps they use from beginning to end. Also beware as the vendors on my job just showed up and we had no clue as to who they were. More importantly, the vendors were just given an order but provided no additional information from Bell - so be prepared to provide all guidance as Bell will not be there with the Vendor. You are on your own.



They will not communicate to the customer and more importantly if you have issues and escalate the issue, the Upper Management will listen to you and then never follow up or talk to you. They do not care about the customer.



They have a great sales pitch and flashy showroom but there is nothing beyond the flashy showroom as the quality is in the toilet.



Bottom line - AVOID BELL AT ALL COSTS for any service.



Alternative: Find the vendors they use and go directly to them. In the end you are working with the vendors directly anyways.

I would give this business 0 stars if it were an option. They were once THE people to call to work on your old boiler, but now they are overpriced and snarky. I was charged over $600 for a one-hour visit to replace a $30 valve. We've called twice to contest the bill. We were told that our efforts to be billed appropriately were the reason their costs were so high.

Beware when using them and make sure you understand the costs before you agree to have them come to your home.

Recently, one of our clients was greatly taken advantage of by Bell Plumbing. We are a general contractor and have had a relationship with this particular client for quite some time. Over a weekend, the client was experiencing some issues with their evaporative cooler. While Bell Plumbing justifiably charged a start up fee for this unit, they also charged her a separate fee of $299.67 to replace several screws and a 3/4" PVC 90. Not only did they charge her an outrageous amount for this service, they put an enormous amount of pressure on her to complete it that day leaving her without a second opinion. Upon contacting Bell Plumbing, they were completely unwilling to waiver on the price of this service, even though they wouldn't admit that it was completely fair or reasonable. Please contact another company for any and all of your plumbing issues or, in the least, be sure to compare their rates and customer service with others in the area.

I have used Bell Plumbing before, some 3 years back & received outstanding service both in terms of quality and price. But after that I used them few times for some basic repairs & found them very expensive. Their prices are easy 50% more than some other local licensed plumbing companies. Bell's parts as well as labor costs more & their service charges are outrageous. I can understand little difference in pricing but more than 50% is just not acceptable. I have now officially pulled the plug on Bell.

My water heater was spouting water this past weekend, I called two plumbers who couldn't set an appointment until Monday. Bell squeezed me in and had my water heater replaced on Saturday. Great tech and very friendly company.

I have used this company over the last 20 years. Not anymore after my treatment today. They called me at 1pm on my cell to let me know the tech was headed to my house. I immediately left work and went home. The tech apparently had arrived and informed my 14 year old daughter that he can't work in a house with only a minor. Of course I know this. The tech left and said that I needed to reschedule. I arrived home 10 minutes after he left. After speaking with dispatch I was turned over to the owner Gary Bell. Gary said that he stood behind his tech and that he wasn't coming back until after 4pm. This may not seem egregious to many of you, but I have a job. I asked Gary why they called me to come home and then left without calling me. Gary said there was nothing more he was willing to do. I am also a small business owner and when I mess up I move mountains to make it right. Bell Plumbing and Heating wasn't willing to go the extra mile for a long time customer. I guess that's how they roll.
