When I made the decision to switch all my banking to a credit union from a monster mega bank where I was just a number, I was apprehensive. Would I be able to do everything I could with the cold, uncaring huge monster bank at a credit union? My apprehension was soon dispelled when I realized that as a customer I was also a member. The staff goes out of their way to help with matters big and small. I got a better rate on my credit card, loans have been a breeze to get ('course good credit helps with that) and I'm treated like a person not just an account number.
