Like the previous reviewer, this is my only choice in this area for psychiatric healthcare. Although Beautiful Minds is religion-based, my problem here is not so much with the religious aspect as it is with the utter lack of comfort and healing which I have experienced during my appointments. Because the only psychiatrist here apparently never takes any new patients, I have to have my appointments with the nurse practitioner. Not only have I felt like a guinea pig for multiple medication prescriptions, but this woman is rude, argumentative and abrupt. When those of us with mental health disorders are feeling down or in a crisis, we need comfort, not abrasion, particularly from anyone in the mental health profession.

This business obviously prefers Christian patients. Unfortunately, due to lack of doctors, I am forced to go here. As a person of another faith, I feel very uncomfortable and ignored.
