Provided by YPmobileThis is what you want when you want Italian. There's only a few places you can go in the metroplex to get this caliber of Italian. Joey is from the "Old Country", and you can taste it in his food. Worth the drive. (and seriously, if you can't get what you want in Italian here, you're better off down the street at Olive Garden, this place would be too authentic for you)

Provided by YP.comI'm sorry that the one reviewer had to throw some vinegar into the mix. Do not put so much of a review into the wait staff. The bottom-line is you are there to eat a wonderful meal, is it not?
That being said, my hubby and I have enjoyed this restaurant since May of 2008. Not long after they opened this 2nd location in Aubrey. We have taken my parents and friends there, and no complaints! Only ooo's and awww's!
My meal of choice is the lasagna, and my husband loves their chicken parmigiana. I will describe the lasagna as delicate, refined, alive with flavors, easy on the palate, eyes and aroma! Absolute perfection!
If Heaven offers food, then I will put in a Special Request for some of Joey's Ristorante's Lagagna! As fine a delicacy as this you would rarely find on either coast. Our choice for special occasions.
Do give them a try; you will never regret it!

Provided by YPmobileTonight 10/17 my co-workers and I stopped to enjoy dinner before heading home. My Boss has been here many times and enjoyed the food. Well, this night the place was completely empty. We asked for garlic to be chopped in the olive oil and they bring out sautéed cloves. Then the salads come out, chicken Caesar with huge chunks of chicken and not sliced properly, while another co-worker got burnt to a crisp shrimp on hers. We send the food back and decide not eat. Then Joey "Jack---" only because it has to be G-rated. Came to our table and was completely confrontational while we apologized to the server left him a good tip but the owner would not stop calling people in our group names and yelling across the rest. Until we left. I would never ever visit this establishment nor would I recommend anyone do either.

Provided by YP.comI live down the street from this place and have all the highest regard for their menu; It's the opitomy of true Italian cuisine. The prices are VERY Reasonable and choices are delicious! I was a cook for 13 years and am very finicky when it comes to restaurants again if you're looking for TRUE Italian food this place is "OF THE CHAIN"

Provided by YP.comThis is among the finest Italian restaurants in Dallas. I have been coming here for years (both at its old location and the present one). Both authentic and affordable, the staff is just as charming as the food. I especially recommend the Tortellini Della Nonna, and of course the staple Pollo Parmigiano.
That said, the place is also great to watch a game or have a drink at the full bar, separated from the restaurant. There is a nice collection of spirits and wine, and a nice touch is the Italian beers on tap (Peroni, Moretti, et al.).
Visit this place soon and you won't be sorry. While you're there, ask to meet Joey. He's quite a character and you will begin to understand how where the authenticity comes from!

Provided by YP.comThis is absolutely the best Italian cruisine I have ever eaten. The salad was very fresh and super crispy! The soup was so good, that I had a second bowl.
Two thumbs up to you guys!
