I don't know what it is about this KFC. It just seems that every time I go there, when I get home something is missing. The food is usually good. At this point, KFC seems to be the only real option if you like fried chicken. Most of the restaurants that offer chicken around the area seem to be selling pigeon as there is barely any meat and they aren't very flavorful. If Popeye's was still around, that would be my first choice, but since they left many moon's ago, KFC is the only place to get decent fried chicken. The sides are usually decent. My son is a fan of the mashed potatoes but they seem like "fake" potatoes to me. Way too smooth to be fresh mashed. The mac and cheese is plenty cheesy. If you like Velveet's version of Mac and Cheese, you will like this.
The order takers always seem to be distracted which is why I think they miss some things. Or maybe it is the person filling it, my bad, I should check my slip. It wouldn't be a big issue if it didn't happen just about every time. Yet, it still is the best choice for fried chicken around. Usually meaty and juicy chicken, though I did get one batch that seemed less meaty. Hopefully this isn't an industry trend that they are serving emaciated chickens.
