The right waitress makes all the difference in the world! When I frequent this joint usually with friends or co-workers I have my pre-selected waitress on hand and I always call in advance to make sure she's on schedule and she saves me a table for the time of my request. I have no problem divulging this waitresses name, because she is the absolute BOMB, her name is Dai and I would recommend her and day! She makes this spot hot and made me choose to become a regular customer, especially on the Wednesday crab leg special night.

Went to this place with some friends from out of town to catch up & have drinks and it was HORRIBLE. The waitress came to bring us drinks and as soon as she reached to put it on the table I looked in it & showed her a FLY (a bug) in my drink!!! She took the drink back to the bar and instead if the bar tender making me a new drink, my friends and I sat and watched him just transfer the EXACT same drink with the bug from one glass to another!!! The General Manager Greg came out and lacked concern and didn’t express any empathy! After paying our bill & still leaving a $21 tip to the waitress, I guess the manager must've thought about his response, because he returned to the table and said that it just “didn’t sit right” with him & he then offered to make another drink. I politely declined because its VERY disgusting knowing that the bartender did that and all I could think about was the fact that the previous glass I was served drinks in probably wasn’t clean! They lack cleanliness. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!

Let's do Better!

First I would like to start off by saying this place couldn't be in a better location,

but they need to change the format..there trying to be a upscale Dugans..not!

the food is good, the drinks are a little pricey, the service could be better but not bad.

the DJ is Ok but damn dude..if your gonna play music videos sync them..

I think they should have a dance floor so people can dance after 11pm

and let people get loose.. stop trying to force feed us after midnight..

people will eat after they drink.. Trust me.

The ultimate disappointment

I went to the ultimate bar and grill last night and was really disappointed, When I walked in side it was this large room with way too many tables in it.I sat down and checked the place out before I ordered my drink. When I finally did order my drink ,it came in a tiny glass with more ice than drink.Anyway at the end of the night when my bill arrived the total was $24.77 and I only had 2 drinks no food(because it was hard to keep up with the waitress) and then they slapped on 18% gratuity .I mean if you are going to charge people like that at least put in a dance floor so people can enjoy them self .The one thing I can say is that the dj was good ,but I won't be back anytime soon.

Great Place on the South Side

This is a new place so the kinks have to be worked out a little bit. I was not aware that they had a two hour limit because I have been here about five times and was able to stay as long as I wanted. They have a lot of customers so I could understand why they need tables. The food is good, the atmosphere is good. The service could be better. However I am very happy to have a convenient spot to hang out and watch a game. I think they did not expect to have so much business at first and that is why they need to work out the kinks. I would give it a thumbs up, however.

Answer to the 2 Hour Limit

I was thinking of going here with a couple of friends to watch the NBA Finals. Since I'm new to the area I was just driving through and noticed this business and thought it would be a good place to hang out. I've read the reviews and decided to call and find out about the 2 hour limit and spoke with the general manager who's name is Eric and was told that the reason they have a 2 hour limit is because they will get someone to come in and order a glass of water and a basket of fries and hold a table all night long when they have customers who are waiting to be seated and willing to buy drinks and food all night long. He stated that you can stay longer than 2 hours, but you have to continue to buy at least a two item minimum every 2 hours. Just thought I would give some clarity on this and hope this helps you decide if this is really a place you want to visit.

Welcome to Camp Creek but...

Okay, this is wild. I'm thinking the person on the first review sat next to me Saturday 17, 2008 evening. Sounds like we had the same waiter. I was a little taken by the waitress telling us that we had two hours to eat. I also think the young lady that waited on us was LaToya as well. Unfortunately, she didn't know much about the drinks they served - she needed a little more coaching. I'm not sure if management's tactic is to get people in and out of the establishment is a good idea. I felt like I was rushed and couldn't risk the chance of buying another drink I didn't really want.

I would stress to management if you want your establishment to grow and be successful, you must understand your consumers have options and you many competitors. We'd like to keep you in the community but you must revisit the sole purpose of coming to the area.

On the flip side, the bar is beautiful and there was much thought given during the designing process. The sound system is wonderful. The ambiance is superb.

Take these reviews serious if you want to continue business in the Camp Creek area because your customer base is different. Hopefully the next time I visit the your bar/grill the service will have changed and I won't see signs up to explaining the two drink minimum per hour - I think the signs are absurd - please remove them and either refrain from this or have your waiters explain it to the customer as they are seated.

2 hour limit

I went into this place last weekend, despite the previous 2 ratings that it had recieved. I figured it seems like a nice place and it is definitely all the raves on Camp Creek. When I went in I was taken by the ambiance of this place. I thought surely the people who wrote the last ratings could not have been talking about this place. That was until I was taken to my seat by Latoya, our waitress. She then proceded to tell us that we had a 2 hour limit. Meaning, we needed to leave after 2 hours. I was astonished. No restaurant I have ever gone to has ever told me that I had 2 hours to eat. Most people understand that your typical customer will never stay over an hour and a half anyway. But to be told that your stay is being timed, is truly ridiculous. Other customers around me got up and left because of this. My girlfriends and I stayed and decided to have a few drinks. That was somewhat hard to do because it took about 20 minutes to get an apple martini. On top of that the seating was horrible. I found myself constantly moving my seat for the servers to get by to other customers. All in all, it had to be one of my worst experience ever. Customer service is the restaurant business and when you don't have that, it won't be long before you don't have customers. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Can Get Better!

My coworker and I went last Friday night after work around 8p. No line but parking lot extremely full had to walk from another business parking lot. Not enough seating. Menu overly priced. Waitresses were unfriendly and rude. They harassed us to get up if we were not going to order anything else other than the drinks we sipped on forever. The place is spacious. The sound system for the music seems to be really good. The people are kinda lame, they just stood or sat and stared at each other, not enough mingling and meeting. I realize it's new, need a little more time to iron out the kinks. I will definitely visit again, no time soon. My only suggestion is friendlier staff. Make the place warm and welcoming because we are already ticked about not enough seating and an overpriced menu.

I beg to differ

I went to this establishment two weeks ago for a business meeting. I must admit the decor was great but that had to be the only positive about this spot. For starters, I ordered a fried tilapia dinner, not only was the price a little steep ($13.00),but my food was horrible. The fish was over cooked and the rice was under cooked and my side of steam vegetables never made it to my plate nor the table but it made it onto my bill. To add to this, I paid $5.25 for a Corona when the average price for this beer is $4.00-$4.50. I also didn't understand the purpose for valet parking in a very small parking lot. And to top it all off, the service was horrible. Not only was my food bad but I had to wait an hour to get it and the manager explained to me that they were getting a new crew next week because other customers had been complaining about the exact same thing. This statement definitely bothered me because this place had only been open for 6 days and was already having problems with staff, which explains the horrible service and food. I have talked to a lot of people who have visited the sports bar and they all seem to say the same thing about this place. What I want to know is who is running this terrible place. They should have a sign up that says "EAT AND DRINK AT YOUR OWN RISK" or "WHO CARES IF THE FOOD OR SERVICE IS BAD, THE AMBIANCE IS GOOD" or my ULTIMATE one "DON'T COMPLAIN, JUST PAY". On another note. Business person to business person, who ever the owner is, it is essential that you correct this problem before it gives you a bad name. In this business you only have one time to make a good impression.

The Bar and Grill had a nice and friendly atomsphere. I love the location. The pricing was excellent and i will go back very soon to catch some of the NBA games on their beautiful HD TV! The drinks were great as well. My only negative is the seating was not all that great. Did not like the set up but never the less it was a great experience
